Chapter 48: Distance Brings Us Closer......

I made it to California and it was beautiful. This was first time here and I fell in love. I called Jason and let him know that I got here safe. I checked into my room and just sat on my bed looking around. No Harley. No Haley No Jason. Just little ole me. The hotel was gorgeous and high class but I did miss my family. I had to get focus and get my work down and go home.
I got dressed for my meeting with the wonderful people who invited me here. They had been clients of mines before and I was glad they wanted me to come back to work with them.
"Hue darling" the woman said standing up as I walked into the conference room. It was about 15 people their and the room smelt like money.
"Mrs. Matthews. It's so good to see you. Thank you for bringing me here. It's beautiful" I said as she hugged me.
"Sweetheart you brought yourself. I was just telling everybody that your food is amazing. I'm stealing you for every party I have." She said as I smiled. I always took chances doing new things to further my career and this was no different. I greatly appreciated the opportunity.
"Aww your so gracious Mrs. Matthew.." I said as she cut me off
"Hue call me Natalie" she said grabbing my hand. She had suck a warm and friendly personality.
"Well Natalie all you gotta do is call and I'll come. I'm never too busy for you" I said sitting down. My business was one of the loves of my life. I worked so hard to wake up every morning to actually love what I do. Not too many people can say that. I enjoyed connecting and making relationships with people through food. I was more than just a cater.
"Ok so Hue honey. These are the party planners, my assistant and some helper for you. You have control to give the direction for the set up. The food will be the highlight so I trust you too handle it" I was shocked cause I all thought my job was to prepare a menu and deliver it to the guest. I didn't think she wanted me take over. I had no problem at all.
"Natalie I don't wanna step on any toes. I'm glad to do the job your asking but I need everyone on board so we can get this done in the time frame given the right way" I said making sure everyone in the room understood that I didn't come to take over their jobs but to be a asset not a hindrance but I was serious about my business.
"Oh Hue I assure you that these are the best of the best. They will work with you not against you. No problems there" she said as everyone nodded. I always believed that you should never be scared as a female to be a boss.  Speak your mind cause people can't read it.
"Okay nice to meet everyone. Let's get started" I said in full work mode. I had so much pride in what I did because I always have it my all. Nothing short of it. I came from nothing and it meant everything to me to be here in this moment right now. I only got better with time.

After hours and hours of prepping and shopping and setting up For 2 days I was exhausted. My feet were killing me and I wanted to just sit down. It was 1 in the morning when I got to my room. And I just needed a shower and a pillow. I got out the shower and grabbed my phone. I was super busy all day but I talked to Harley twice today. She asked all kinds of questions making me smile. I really did miss my babies and couldn't wait to kiss on them. I had to go before Jason got a chance to talk so I wanna to talk to him when I was finish and alone. I missed him like crazy and wanted to hear his voice.
"Hello" he said in a raspy voice. I knew he was sleeping and it was late but I needed him.
"Baby you sleeping. Wake up I wanna talk" I said as he laughed.
"I'm always up for you beautiful. How's it goin" he said clearing his throat. His voice was so sexy.
"It's going good. It's so pretty down here and all the people are so nice and friendly" I said laying down.
"I'm glad they treatin my baby right. Don't get too comfortable and don't wanna come back" he said as we laughed
"J you know I won't. I would miss you too much" I said in a low voice
"You miss me now" he said into the phone. I could tell he was biting his lip.
"I do miss you baby. A lot" I said smiling
"Daddy miss you more" I loved hearing his voice all the time.
"No you don't. I miss you more. Where the girls at" I asked wanting him to be all alone.
"They sleep. Haley just ate right before you called and Harley in her bed snoring" he said making me smile. I was glad they were okay.
"So daddy all by himself in bed huh" I said in a seductive voice.
"Lonely missing my sexy wife." He said making me want him so bad.
"Jason....." I said over and over to him
"What's up beautiful" he said softy
"Guess what I got on" I said teasing him.
"Hmmm give me a hint sexy" he said back to me.
"Here's your hint. I just got out the shower and I'm drippin wet" I said playing with my hair biting my lip
"Oh shit. Hue don't do this to me. You know I'm hard as a mother fucker." He said making me laugh
"Aww my poor baby" I whispered to him
"Hell yeah I been walking around for 2 days with this hard ass dick. You need to get that ass back to me so I can do some damage. You not goin be able to wak" he was so serious cracking me up and turning me on
"Jason I thought you missed me for me. All miss me for is for sex. That's a shame" I said pretending to sad
"Beautiful you know I miss everything about you"
"Like what" I questioned.

"You pose to say too baby" I said laughing "let's try it again. I love you Jason" I repeated
"I love you Hue" he said laughing
"See you don't even listen to me. But it's okay. I know how to fix that" I said getting under the covers
"See you talkin shit cause you out in Cali but watch when I see you. It's goin be a different tune" he said as I giggled
"Is that a threat Mr. Thomas" I said removing my towel under the covers
"Take it however you want sexy. I mean that in every way possible" he was such a turn on. His voice was deep and low sending my mind into a whole other world
"Daddy I'm horny" I said rubbing up and down my chest. I hated feeling like this without him
"You want daddy don't you" he said back making me so wet
"I do so bad. You don't want me daddy" I said to him letting him know how much I desired him so bad. No sex from Jason for 2 days was way harder than I thought. "Nah I feel you. What time you want me to pick you though. I don't wanna have you waitin" he said as I reached over hitting my lamp. I read my ticket for tomorrow double checking the time.
"My plane land at 9:30pm. So whatever time you think is fine J. I'm not goin rush you babe" I said running my hand thru my hair.
"Aight. Imma leave the girls at home with my mother. I don't want them out there waitin wit me." I completely agreed. The airport was full of germs and my babies were so small and I didn't want to get sick waiting for their mommy.
"Okay baby. I can't wait to see you tomorrow night" I was so happy to be going home.
"I know but go to bed beautiful. You got your party tomorrow and I don't want you tired. It's already late as shit" he was right but I didn't wanna hang up. I sighed heavy  before I spoke up.
"Okay Jason" I said sadly.
"No don't do that baby. We goin see each other soon okay. Now say you love me" he said making me feel better
"I love you so much baby." I said to him
"And I love you too beautiful. Get some sleep. Imma talk to you later" he said as I nodded. I didn't hang up I just sat there waiting for him to disconnect our call.
"Hue" he said laughing
"Jason " I said smiling. He didn't even hang up
"Take your ass to sleep." We laughed with each. We were so needy when it came to each other.
"I can't if you don't hang up" I said lying
"Aight how bout we do it at the same time" he said like we were teenagers.
"Okay. I'll start 1" I said
"2" he said back
"2 and a half" I said laughing
"Hue stop" I couldn't get enough of him.
"Okay okay. I love you babe. Good night" I said ready this time.
"I love you too" with that I hit the end button. I laid back down wanting my Jason. I couldn't sleep peacefully without him. I grabbed my pillow hugging it tight pretending to be next to him. I said my prayers as I drifted off to sleep...........

"Natalie you didn't have to drop me at the airport. I could've took a cab or something" I said as I got carrying my bag
"Non sense Hue. My party was amazing. Everyone raved about your food. They can't have you" she said as we laughed
"It was my pleasure Natalie. I enjoyed my time. Thank you again" I said humbled
"Have a nice flight back home to your family. I know they miss you. I'll send you pictures after everything is finished    Thank you sweetie" she gave me a hug and I thanked her again. I met so many new people and I had a blast. I showcased my talent and I was extremely pleased with the outcome. California was great to say the least but I needed to get back to Atlanta where my family was. I missed them so much. I couldn't wait to kiss and hug on my babies. I needed to lay on eyes on my angels.
"Everyone relax and prepare for take off. Thanks for flying with us" was the last thing I heard before I dosed off. Those seats were so comfortable I slept thru the whole flight. When I finally woke up it was dark and we were landing. I grabbed my carry on bag and waited to walk off. My heart was beating out my chest to see Jason. Person after person walked ahead of me as I got closer and closer to the entrance. I walked out and looked for him. It was kinda crowded so I went to just grab my suitcase.
"Need some help with that beautiful" I heard a deep voice say as I smiled.  I turned around seeing my husband.
"Babyyyy!!!!!" I screamed excited to see him. I automatically dropped my bags running into his arms.
"Hey beautiful" he said hugging me tight. It felt so good to feel his touch.
"I missed you I missed you I missed you" I said kissing his face all over. I couldn't help myself. I was so happy.
"I missed you too. Come on let's get out of here. The girls can't wait to see you" he took my bags as we walked to the car. He opened my door and placed my bags in the trunk. He got in the driver seat turning the car on. I couldn't stop smiling.
"I'm so happy to see you Jason" I said caressing his hands.
"Come here" he said pulling me closer to him. I grabbed his face as he kissed me softly over and over. I took his bottom lip in my mouth as he pulled back.
"What's wrong baby" I said as he turned the car off.
"Get in the back" he said in my ear. I unstrapped my seat belt and climbed in the back while he got out and came thru the side. He pushed me down hovering over me. I stroke his face as he looked at me.
"Make love to me Jason" I said as he lowered his head on my face. He kissed me with all the passion in the world. Our tongues danced in each other's mouth as I rubbed his back up and down. Our lips stayed connected as he pulled my sweatpants off. I undid his belt tearing his jeans off.
"I'm never leaving you again baby" I said as he pulled my shirt over my head.
"I won't let you" He positioned himself between my legs as he pushed inside me slowly. It felt like our first time again. I fell in love with Jason all over again. Not seeing him made me realize just how in love I was with him. Not being able to feel his touch or hear his voice in my ear made me appreciate all the times he was around. Jason was an amazing husband and an even better father. Our daughters adores him and he loved them with every fiber of his being. Jason cherished me like I never seen in my life. He kept his promise to me when he said that he would never leave me or hurt me. I deserved this. I deserved Jason. I deserved my beautiful angels. I could honestly say that and believe it. I never wanted to be apart from any of them again. EVER......
