Chapter 87: I Gotta Thing For You

"Ma ma sleep wit me" Harley said as I bounced Jae in my arms. I sat on her bed until they fell asleep. After we played downstairs I fed them dinner, nursed Jae and gave all 3 of them a warm bath. It was definitely time bed time.
"Mommy has her own bed angel and daddy goin be sad if mommy wasn't in it" I said kissing them sweetly.
"No my bed" she said patting her bed in her little angelic voice. I had no choice at this point.
"Okay make room for mommy" I got in the middle between them as they cuddled up on both sides of my chest. I placed Jae on my chest as I held all 3 of my babies. This was what my favorite part of the day hands down.
"Go to sleep my angles" I had them in my arms squeezing them tight. I never wanted to let them go. "Mommy and daddy love you so much." I hummed sweetly to them as I saw them dose off one by one. Being a mother to them was priceless. As I looked down at them I couldn't help but feel so blessed. All of my children were miracles and nothing in this world could ever take me from them. Nothing meant more to me than them and Jason. I laid there with them as Jae's little head popped up from off my chest. He was so damn adorable.
"You pose to be sleep big boy" I said as he smiled at me. He was in love with his mommy.
"Let's sneak to your room" I carefully got out of Harley's bed trying my best not to wake them up. If her of her sisters saw me it was a wrap. I made it to Jae's room sitting myself in his rocking chair until he was ready to sleep on his own.
"Your mommy's big boy Jae" I said as he stated me down. This was real love. I rocked him back and forth letting him settle down for the night. "Jae close your eyes. It's sleep time" I said as he cracked up. He found me hilarious.
"Oh you wanna play huh." I kissed his belly over and over as he giggled. He loved when me and Jason did that to him. "Mommy make you laugh big boy. I know." I never could stop looking at him. He was my only boy and the other king in my life. "Jae mommy loves you so much. I can't to see your face everyday when I wake up. I promise to always love you Jae. Mommy promise" I said so in love with him. I wanted my babies to always remember me being sweet and kind to them. I wanted them to think about their childhood and say I was loved. Not miserable or dysfunctional. Not under my roof. They had a mother who genuinely loved them and couldn't keep her hands off them. They had a father who broke his back to provide and protect them. It was nothing that neither of us wouldn't do for those 3. They were our best creations together.
"Night night Jae" I said as he yawned back to back. That warm milk and warm bath was kicking right in. I stood up easing him in his crib.
"I love you so much Jae Vince Thomas. Your mommy's world. Sleep tight baby" I kissed him letting him sleep as o walked out. My night was done once the 3 of them were sleeping safe and sound. I hit the hall light off as I walked to bed. I opened the door and saw Jason still sleep. The room was warm and dark which I knew he loved. He looked so comfortable and cozy under the blanket. I got on my side being as quiet as possible. It was rare that Jason slept for this long because he was always working or doing something for me or the kids so I was ecstatic that he was getting some much needed rest. I wasn't gonna disturb it one bit. I got comfortable laying on my pillow as I felt Jason move around the sheets.
"Beautiful" he said in a raspy voice as I leaned over towards him.
"Yes baby. I'm right here" I spoke as he laid his head on my chest holding on to me tight.
"Your day was okay" he asked half asleep. No matter what he still wanted to check on me.
"It was good babe. But we can talk about it tomorrow. Go back to sleep" I rubbed his shoulders and back as he exhaled. He deserved every bit of affection I gave to him.
"I need a goodnight kiss first" he said as I laughed. He never let his kisses go to waste.
"You can have a kiss good night Jason." I lifted his chin up to my face as I planted my lips on his. I let them rest on his as we savored the moment. I kissed his soft lips over and over as he returned all my kisses. I felt the tip of tongue on my lips trying to slide in my mouth as I blushed.
"J don't try it" I said as he laughed.
"Just one time beautiful. That's it" he said rubbing my thigh as I looked in his eyes in the dark.
"One" I said on his lips as he took my bottom lip in his mouth. I opened my mouth accepting his tongue as I held his face. Our tongues made love as we kissed passionately. I loved Jason's soft lips and he was an amazing kisser.
"Mmmmm" I moaned out in his mouth as he broke the kiss. I pecked his lips as he laid back down on my chest.
"I love you beautiful." He said as I ran my nails thru his waves.
"And I love you too. Good night" I said shutting my eyes.
"And don't stop rubbing my back either" he said yawning as I laughed.
"I won't daddy I won't." I said peacefully. My night was made.

I was at home all day but I had a very important meeting to get to by 8. It was unusual for me to meet any clients after 4 but I had prior experiences with them and I was fully flexible when it came to meeting their needs.
"J where are my diamond earrings you brought me" I said curling my last piece of hair. I was dressed in a fitted black skirt that stopped at my knee and a white button up blouse. I always wanted to look professional but attractive at the same time.
"They right here beautiful" he said walking into the bathroom with Jae in his hand.
"Thanks babe." I grabbed them putting them in my ears as he looked at my outfit hard.
"Hue let me ask you something" he said as I put my bracelet on.
"Uh oh mommy's in trouble Jae. Daddy called me by my name" I said smiling at him.
"Nah I'm just wondering why you dressed like that for a meeting." He said as I rolled my eyes. We was not going there.
"Like what Jason? I been dressing like this every time I leave and go to my office. This ain't nothing new." I said walking out checking my phone. "Oh and babe I'm not going to be at my office I'm meeting them at Ona's " I said remembering to tell him that. Since it was a late meeting they preferred to meet at a restaurant which I was totally ok with.
"Ona's? Okay" he said too quickly for my liking. I knew he was over thinking something.
"Jason what is the problem?" I said as he sucked his teeth.
"I'm not the one with the problem but I don't like how this sounds. I hope it ain't no male client either" he said as I got quiet. Okay it was a man but it was just business. Quincy was a client of mines a year ago and he spent good money for my services. A lot of my big parties came from his referrals brought to me so I always made myself available for him. And plus he was actually a good friend. I enjoyed working with him.
"Jason please don't give me a hard time" I said taking Jae from him placing him in his bouncer.
"Are you serious. You meeting with a man at night for dinner and you callin it business. Go head wit that" he said offending me. It was strictly business.
"Go head what. You acting like I'm going on a damn date Jason. It's not that deep" I said as he nodded his head.
"Ain't no man goin ask no married woman to meet him this late for just business. You ain't stupid Hue. I ain't feelin that shit and as your husband I'm just telling you how I feel" he said back as I took a deep breath.
"Baby please" I just wanted to be on time for this and leave and he was over reacting.
"Please what? You know what whatever man. Good luck" he sat in bed turning the TV on as I sighed. One thing I knew about Jason was that he only shut down when he felt I was ignoring him or brushing his feelings to the side. As much as I wanted to be in time. I had to make things right with him. He came before anyone else.
"Daddy" I whispered to him kissing his cheek repeatedly.
"Yeah man" he said still upset. I hated when he was mad with me.
"I'm sorry baby." I said as he looked past me.
"It's all good. Go head so you won't be late" he said not even accepting my apology. 
"Jason I'm trying to apologize to you and your being rude rushing me out the house." I was trying my best to handle my business and still make him happy.
"I ain't rushing you." He said nonchalantly.
"You know what. I tried to hear you out and say sorry but you don't care so I'm gone." I grabbed my purse and my cell phone as he looked back at the TV. Idk why he got so mad when he knew I loved him and only him.
"Mommy loves you Jae" I kissed his lips as I walked towards the door.
"Bye Jason. I'll be home in an hour if you care. I love you" I said to him
"I love you too" he said as I stood by the door. I never ever wanted to leave or go to sleep mad at each other. Soon as I was about to walk down the stairs something held me back. My mind instantly thought about his car accident and remembered how scary it felt to be so close to losing him. I vowed from that day on if God woke my baby up to never leave each other with unfinished issues. I had to make it right. I stared at him pouting as he finally gave me eye contact. Once we locked eyes it was no looking away.
"Aye don't give me that sad look Hue" he said as I did it again.
"Stop calling me that J" I whined walking over making room on his lap for me. I sat on his thigh making him gave me. "Jason it's no other man who compares to you. You know that right?" I said playing with his beard.
"I know that but you don't dress up no more like this for me. Since you had Jae we don't go out like we use to" he was right. I got so busy with the kids and work and taking care of the house I didn't see that I was taking me away from him.
"But baby I try make sure I please you every night. We still make love often" I said as he chuckled
"You think is having sex is my issue. Don't get me wrong I love the fact that we make love all the time but that's not the only way I want you beautiful" he said making me blush. I knew he wanted me for more than just sex but it was nice to hear it. "I wanna take you out and show you off like I use to do. I want you to dress up for me again and for us to go to the movies or dinner every once and awhile. I don't wanna be on your back but I want my wife to still see me as important" he said as I held my head down. Something about when Jason expressed his needs to me that I didn't meet made me feel so bad and a disappointment to him. I felt I failed as a wife and it made me cry.
"I haven't been a good wife huh" I said wiping my eyes. Nobody could make me cry or hurt my feelings the way Jason could. I valued his opinion so much that when it wasn't good I felt like I was the worst person on earth. Only he had that effect on me.
"Baby that's not what I said at all. Your an amazing wife. I ain't mean for it to come off like that" he kissed my tears as still felt bad.
"I can never get it right Jason. Never. If the house and kids taken care of than your left out. If I'm at work than I feel like I'm neglecting my kids and when everyone is happy I feel left out. I'm a disappointment to you" I cried feeling overwhelmed at this moment. I was good balancing everything sometimes but I was far from perfect. And hearing him tell me that validated my feelings.
"Beautiful stop being like that. All I was saying is let me take you out again like I use too. I want us to be closer like we were. Not with just sex. Your still my baby and I still need you. But your a damn good mother to my kids and your the best wife I could ask for baby. I'm happy with you" he wiped my eyes as I calmed my nerves. I hated when I let small things blow up my mind and send me in a crazy state of mind. I was a great mother and I did everything in my power to make Jason happy. I couldn't beat myself up.
"You still love me daddy" I said laying my head on his shoulder. He was my world. I literally needed him to function in a good way.
"I'm always goin love you. Always baby. Now let me fix your make up so won't be late okay beautiful" he said walking me to the bathroom. I held his hand as he opened my make up bag. This was gonna be interesting.
"Just put some of that under my eyes" I said pointing to my toner cream. I didn't really wear much make up to begin with.
"Aight. I got you" he squeezed some in his hand making me laugh.
"Why you laughing. Imma have you looking good." He said smearing it on my face.
"Oh I believe you babe" I said fixing it myself as he washed his hands. He was my best friend. He walked me to my car opening my door as I got in.
"If you ain't back in an hour Imma come looking for you deal?" He said as I caressed his face from my window.
"Deal baby." I said smiling at him so in love.
"Gimme me my kiss so you can go" I kissed his lips as he kissed me back. "Have a good meeting and by the way you look sexy as shit too. Just thought to tell you that" he made me so hot.
"Thank you handsome. I want another kiss before I go." I said desiring him so much.
"Muah Muah Muah mmmmmmuuuuahhh" he said making me bite his lip.
"If I didn't have to go to this meeting I would have my way with you in this car" I said winking at him.

No good. "How about when you on your way you text me and I'll come outside and make that happen." He said turning me on.
"Make sure your shirtless and wearing no boxers" I said pulling on his shirt.
"Mmmm I got you sexy. Make sure you take them panties off before I get in." I was way past turned on. I had to be at the restaurant by 8:30. I looked at my clock that read 7:15. It look 20 minutes to get there but I had some extra time. I always made it a habit to be extra early but this time was gonna have to be a little bit different.
"Get in right now" I said as he laughed. 
"Nah beautiful. You goin be late. We can do it after" he was totally throwing my plan off. I got out the car hoping to change his mind.
"I have about 30 extra minutes I can spare." I sled my hands down to the front of his pants as he grunted. "How about we get in the back seat while the kids sleep and have some fun. Please J" I left small trails of kisses on his neck as he grabbed my ass.
"How can I say no to you beautiful" he saw it my way now. He opened the door as I climbed in first.
"I just want you so bad I couldn't help myself baby" I said licking his neck. He hiked my skirt up pushing my panties to the side.
"Oh I can feel that" he said running his fingers on my inner thigh. I was so ready.
"30 minutes Jason." I said as he entered me.
"Got you" was all he said as I started moaning. My mind went blank after the first stroke. I was so glad I stayed to resolve and hear him out. I definitely took what he said into consideration. I heard him loud and clear.

I pulled into the parking lot fixing my clothes before I got out the car. I got here 10 minutes late but it was well worth it.
"Welcome to Ona's. Can I get you a table?" The hostess said as I stood there.
"No I have a reservation. It should be under Hue Thomas." I said as she nodded her head.
"Oh yes. Your guest is already here waiting" she lead me to the table as I saw Quincy reading his menu.
"We'll hello there Mr. Lawson." I said touching his shoulder as he turned around.
"Oh damn. I ain't even see you come in" he said standing up giving me a hug. He pulled my seat out as I sat down.
"Thank you Quincy." I order something to drink as I got the conversation going. "So what kind of event you throwing this year. I know you known for them Quincy" I said sipping my ice tea as he laughed.
"Nothing big this year. I'm trying to do something small. I just brought a house on Hendrix so I'm throwing a house warming party so I need the best to come through and help" he said as I smiled. I was the best.
"Well you got good taste I see" I joked with him. "But I'm here whenever you need me. I'll be happy to help" I said as he shook in agreement
"I knew you would. That's why I called you" he said looking at me for long periods of time.
"Omg what's on my face Quincy" I said grabbing my napkin. It had to be something on it the way he was looking.
"Nothing. Why you so paranoid" he said making me laugh. He was a really chill person and I enjoyed when he came around.
"I'm not paranoid. You was looking at me like I had something on my face. That's why" I said as he got serious.
"Maybe I was looking at you because your extremely beautiful" he took my way off guard as I shifted in my seat. Now Quincy was fine as hell any woman with eyes could see that but I had no desire to flirt or take it there with him. He was cool but I had a husband who I was very much in love with. Just in the nick of time the waiter came over with our food. I felt so awkward I couldn't even eat.
"So how many people are you planning on having" I said switching the subject. Maybe if I by passed his comment he would pick up on my hint.
"I mean not too many. I'm straight either way as long as you there." He said as I almost choked.
"Quincy are you flirting with me" I said smiling but serious
"Is it that obvious. Damn" he said laughing it off
"Yeah it is" I said laughing "but you do know I'm married right" I asked making sure. 
"You happy? I mean no disrespect to your man but you everything I want in a woman. Your sexy as hell and your make your own money. I need a woman like you." I couldn't even respond I was so confused. I saw him plenty of times and he never said nothing like this before.
"To be honest I kinda asked you out to meet me so I can finally tell you I been feelin you. You always keep it professional when I see you so I thought if we saw each other outside your office you can be honest wit me" I looked at him thinking he must have lost his mind. He made me leave my house and family so he could ask me out. No way in hell.
"Quincy does the word married mean anything to you. I appreciate your honesty but I'm in love with my husband. And I'm happy" I said confidently
"You know how long I known you. I been wanting a chance with you. I just ain't know how to step to you" it was true we knew each other for a while but it was always friendly. Always.
"I can't change that sweetheart. I'm sorry" I said as he grabbed my hand.
"Let my hand go please." I said as he kissed the back of it over and over.
"I want you Hue. Don't do me like this" I couldn't even understand why he was doing this.
"Quincy stop. I already told you no" I said as he kept on kissing my hand. I snatched it away as he laughed.
"Hue come on. I can take care of you. Just give me one night to prove to you that I got you." He caressed my leg under the table as I moved my chair back.
"I don't need one night to tell me anything. I'm in love with Jason. That's never changing. We have 3 kids and I will never jeopardize that. I'm sorry" I said grabbing my purse
"If you love him why you still sitting here with me" he said as I laughed. I was already on my way out.
"Your so right Quincy. Oh and find someone else to help you cause I can't work with you anymore. Have a nice night" I got up from the table so thrown off. As many times as I seen him he never came at me like this. Never. I wanted nothin to do with him in any way. I hated to say but Jason was right. He didn't wanna meet for business he wanted to see how he could pull me. Now how was I gonna tell Jason was the real problem now. That was not gonna be easy. What so ever.........
