"So what's your plans for the weekend " Jen said sipping her glass of moscato on my couch. I saw her mouth moving but didn't hear a damn thing she was saying.
"Hello am I talking to myself.......Hue!" Jen said loudly
"Im sorry girl I'm listening. I had a moment" I said staring at the wall. I have been day dreaming for 2 weeks straight. For some reason I couldn't get that image of the guy in market out my mind. It was just something about him that kept popping up in my head. But who was I kidding that man was either married had a girlfriend or gay cause why would a man that fine be single but either way what were the odds that I'll see him again.
"You keep zoning out on me girl what's up with you" Jen asked concerned refilling her glass and mines.
"Well member the guy I told you about a couple of weeks ago that I saw at Mr. Glenn's?"
"Yeah, what about him?" Jen said raising her eyebrows
"Get that look off your face trick!" I laughed knowing her all too well. She probably was thinking I saw him and had a one night stand or something
"Ok ok wouldn't hurt to ask" she giggled loudly
"No but seriously Jen, I only saw him one time and can't get him out my mind. All he did was say 2 words to me and I can't stop thinking about him. It's crazy cause this not like me" I said sinking into my couch
"He must've looked real real realllllllll good then cause you been tripping. But girl you never know you might see him again if it's ment for you too"
I sighed and threw back the little wine I had left in my glass
"Hmm I doubt it"

2 Months Later
"Mr. Glenn do you have any fresh basil I have 3 events I'm doing and I need some for all of them" I asked looking over my shopping list. I had been very busy at work for the past couple weeks and loved seeing money just roll in. I couldn't complain
"They in aisle 5 towards the back sweetie. Had to move them yesterday" Mr. Glenn said to me as I whipped my cart in the direction of aisle 5 finishing off my list.
"basil...basil...basil" I said as I moved my eyes from left to right looking for the basil. "Here we go" as I placed a couple bunches in my cart. As I started to walk away I heard a voice that sent shivers down my spine. A voice I never thought I would hear again. I looked back and sure enough it was HIM coming in my direction. I thought I was dreaming until he bought me back to reality.
"Well hello beautiful I see you the one blocking my way now" he said as I looked and noticed that my cart was sure enough in the walk way in the middle
"That's just karma getting back at you. I didn't even notice" I smiled at him
"Now I would be wrong if I just moved you out the way huh" I couldn't keep my eyes off him. I mean it was just like last time. Perfection.
"You would but I'll give you a pass though" I said causing him to smile showing his dimples.
"Mmmhmm. I see you shopping real heavy. Your man and kids must be hungry" he said looking at my filled to the top cart
"Actually this is for my catering parties. I don't have a husband or kids for your information but judging by your cart your wife needs some lessons cause all I see is pre made items " I said placing my hand on my hip trying to do exactly what he was doing. Seeing if he had someone.
"I mean if I had a wife I wouldn't be in here throwing shit together. I'm single beautiful but you seem like you could help a brother out miss chef" I couldn't help but smile on the inside
"I could teach you a lil something. Here take my card" I told him handing it to him as he read it over
"Hue Jackson" he said letting my name roll off his tongue reading the card
"Yes the one and only but you can just say Hue. And by the way I didn't get your name" I said remembering I had no idea what his name was
"Jason Thomas" he said reaching out for a hand shake
"Ok Jason. Nice talking to you" I said returning his hand shake and going to get my cart
"Don't be a stranger beautiful" he said as he walked pass me giving me his business card.
"Oh trust me I won't" I said softly to myself as I read his info. "Jason Thomas CEO of Thomas realtors" I was impressed. Fine and a CEO! I think God was trying to tell me something.
