Chapter 85: Prime Time

I was so happy me and Jason got a chance to go to Dr. Williams office and talk. I felt like we needed that and it was so worth it. I realized I had to step back and chose my time wisely so me and Jason could have that personal relationship outside our kids so we could just be us. I wanted our marriage to exist other than for just our kids.
"Ma ma baby cryin" Harley said as I jumped from the table where I was working on my laptop.
"Mommy's coming. Mommy's coming Jae." I said picking him up. He couldn't be hungry cause I literally fed him 10 minutes ago.
"Jae what's wrong. Mommy just fed you big boy" I said rocking him as he stopped. I kissed his lips laying him back in his bouncer as he cried all over again soon as his little body hit that thing. I was starting to see a pattern.
"Jae what's the matter handsome" I scooped him in my arms again as his crying came to a halt.
"Oh I see. You wanna be held huh baby. You think mommy goin hold you all day?" I said to him as he smiled. He was so damn cute!!!! I was obsessed with my son. "Okay baby mommy will hold you till you fall asleep. Fair" I said as he stared at me. I walked around the house cradling him close to my chest as he found his little peace. I watched his little eyes shut as he made small noises.
"I love you baby" I said carefully laying him in his bassinet. I rocked it for a while until he was off to a deep sleep.
"Ma ma ma ma" was all I heard as I exhaled. I got one to sleep but the other 2 was another story.
"Yes my angel" I said picking up Harley who ran in my arms.
"Me gotta potty" she said as I ran her to the bathroom. I pulled her pull up off as she used her own pink potty. I heard her use the bathroom all by herself and got so happy.
"You did angel. Mommy's so proud of you" I said as she jumped up and down. Me and Jason had a sticker board in the bathroom for every time they used their potty to get them in the habit of being potty trained. Harley had 5 and Haley has 2. I was so proud of them both.
"Star ma ma" she dragged the stool to the board as I gave her a sticker to place on it. I froze for a second realizing it was unusually quiet.
"Haley" I yelled out noticing she was awfully quiet. Normally she was talking my head off or someone screaming her little head off. And to top it off I hadn't seen her in a good couple minutes. "Haley mommy's calling you" I said wiping Harley clean giving her a new pull up. I washed her hands as I let her go back downstairs and color at the table. I walked out the bathroom not hearing or seeing Haley. She was up to no good. I could feel it and I knew my daughter. I checked the front area cause sometimes she would sit there when it was close to the time Jason would come home but no Haley. I walked into the kitchen as I nearly broke my neck slipping on whatever it was spilled all over the floor. I looked down seeing honey everywhere on my floors. I tilted my head to the right seeing no one other than the honey bandit.
"Pretty girl what did you doing" I said with big eyes seeing honey all over her. Idk how she even got it.
"Me play ma ma" she said as I rubbed my temples. I just bathed them and cleared the kitchen up.
"Baby mommy said don't touch anything without asking first. You made a mess. And mommy just cleaned you up." I taking her upstairs and off stripping her clothes off as we ran to the bathroom with Harley following behind. She had honey all in her hair nose ears. It was just a big sticky mess. I put her in the tub as she started to cry. Haley wasn't a fan of the tub if it wasn't a bubble bath.
"So you gonna cry now Haley. You can't stay like this baby. " I said washing her face and hair.
"Ma ma ma ma out out" she said crying as I moved as fast as I could.
"Mommy sorry baby I'm almost done." I soaped her body up as I turned the water hose on. I was in our bedroom and forgot to turn the over head shower off. Jason used it before he left for work completely slipping my mind. It was too late because all I felt was water pour all over my hair.
"Shit!" I said out loud as I felt my hair stick to my clothes.
"Dhit" Haley said trying to repeat what she just heard me say. 
"Oh no don't say that pretty girl. That's a bad word. Mommy didn't mean to say that in front of you" I said pinning my wet hair up quickly. I rinsed her off grabbing her towel drying her off.
"Ma ma me wanna make cookies" Harley said jumping on our bed as I dressed her sister.
"After mommy's done with your sister. We can bake some". I said dressing Haley. I felt like I had to be multiple people at once. It was not easy with 3 small kids. I grabbed their hands as we walked to the kitchen to make cookies. I had some work to do but I guess it had to wait.
"Okay here. Put these on the pan for mommy while I clean the floor" I said giving them a bowl of cookie dough. I made cookie dough on a daily just for moments like this. They eagerly grabbed the dough smacking it on the baking pan as I laughed. I got the cleaning solution spraying it on the floor scrubbing the everything clean. I got all the honey up as I went to help my babies.
"Okay girls mommy goin put it in the oven." I took the pan and put it in the oven as they wanted to play with the rest of the dough. Long as they were quiet and didn't wake up their brother I had no problem. Whatever made them happy. I sat at the table keeping a eye on them as I typed away. I was 15 minutes into my work when Jason came in the door. He ran over to the girls as they jumped all over him.
"Yall making cookies for daddy" he said giving them his attention as they fed him cookie dough.
"Stay here while I say hi to mommy. I be back" he kissed them making his way over to me. He leaned down kissing my neck making me loose focus on my screen.
"J stop. I'm working right now" I said as he started rubbing my shoulders kissing all over me.
"I don't care" he said making me laugh. I missed this man so much when we was gone. He was sucking on my neck as I reached up caressing his head.
"Mmmmm baby" I whispered to him relaxing.
"Why you feel so tense" he whispered in my ear as I played with his earlobes.
"Cause I been doing 10 things at once today baby." I said resting my hands on his.
"You gotta relax beautiful. That's not good for you. Tonight Imma take care you okay" he said kissing me as I faced him.
"Promise" I said looking in his eyes.
"Daddy promise beautiful" he said as I remembered the cookies still in the oven.
"The cookies!" I said running to the oven. I made it just in time. I removed them from the tray putting them on the plate to cool pouring milk for my girls.
"Angel tell daddy what you did today" I said giving them their cookies and milk at the table as Jason sat next to them. I want to sir in my chair as Jason pulled my arm to sit in his lap. He wrapped his arms around me as I fed him.
"Da da I got star!" She said as he reached out for a high five. She loved his praises.
"Daddy so proud of his princess. Here" he gave her a 20 out his pocket as she waved it around. "Put that in your piggy bank princess" I'm sure she had more money in that damn pig than I had in my wallet. He gave her money all the time.
"Me need one da da" Haley said as I laughed remembering her antics earlier.
"Tell daddy what you did today" I said as she covered her face. He held out a 20 for her but not before he heard something.
"Me was good" she said as I gasped raising my eyebrows at her.
"Haley." I said shaking my head. "Babe your daughter was quiet for way too long and you know how she is. So while I was in the bathroom with Harley I called her and she was no where to be found. So J I come in the kitchen damn near bust my ass cause she squeezed the bottle of honey all over the floor and on herself" I said as Jason looked at her.
"Princess why you do that. You was being bad huh " he said a she held her head down. When Jason was serious with them it broke their hearts to pieces.
"I sorry da da" she said crying knowing she was in trouble.
"Tell mommy sorry. She the one who had to clean it up" he said correcting her.
"Sorry ma ma" she had tears running down her chubby cheeks as I felt so bad. Jason was the one who could handle the tears. Not me.
"Come stand in front of daddy" he said as she came and stood in front of us.
"Now you know that wasn't good but you said sorry so mommy and daddy forgive you okay princess" he said wiping her tears away. He taught them respect and discipline in a soft manner. You didn't have to have your kids fear you to death just to get them to listen and behave. We understood that they weren't perfect and everyone makes mistakes. Jason and I never yelled or laid a hand on them. It wasn't our style of parenting and it reminded me too much of my own childhood.
"Okay" she said innocently rubbing her nose.
"Now give daddy and mommy a kiss and here" he gave her the money as she kissed us both. She ran back to her seat happy. It was no other man who I would raise a family with but Jason. He was stern but still had this gentle touch about him for his family. Even though he made sure to check them they still adored and ran to their daddy for anything.
"You messing somebody" I said to him with my hand out. He was dishing out money so hey. I thought to myself laughing.
"Oh nah I ain't forget you." He got close to my ear whispering "You get your money from daddy a different way" he said as I laughed.
"Get away from me Jason" I said getting up. He smacked my ass hard as I went to get Jae.
"Jae daddy's home baby. Look" I said to a wide awake Jae. I carried him to the table as Jason lit up. That little boy was his heart. They already had this father son bond.
"What's up lil man. You miss daddy" he said taking him from me holding him up in the air. "You watch over the girls today while daddy was gone man." He said as I smiled. "Was he aight today beautiful?" Jason made sure all of his kids were okay on a daily. It was nothing he didn't know about.
"Yeah he nursed for a good while today. And slept pretty good for the most part. Ain't that right momma boy" I said as he showed his deep dimples hearing me. I was the first woman he was ever gonna love.
"That's what daddy wanna hear." Jason said kissing him. I washed the dishes as Jason took the kids. He played with them on the living room fall as I came out to join them. I sat down next to Jason laying my head on his shoulder.
"Haley show mommy your pretty picture" Jason said to her kissing my forehead. As much as I wanted to just get some rest. I would never pass up an opportunity to spend time with my family.
"Look ma ma" she said holding it up to me
"Omg you didn't color that. No way!" I said to her as she giggled.
"Yes me did!" She said confidently
"It's just so pretty. Can mommy and daddy have it for our room" I asked smiling at her. She nodded her little head going back to her masterpiece.
"Angel what you drawing" I said looking at Harley. She was kinda quiet.
"It ugly ma ma" she said starting to cry. "Come here princess" Jason said siting here between us. Harley wasn't as sassy as her sister. She was more observant and took after her father with her laid back attitude.
"It's not ugly angel. Mommy loves it" I said kissing her tears away. "Stop crying baby. You can't doubt yourself. When you do it makes you sad and unhappy. Be confident angel" I said to her. She laid on her daddy as I stroked her curly hair.
"You hear your mommy princess. You special and don't let nobody tell you different. If someone say otherwise come get daddy and I'll beat the shit out them" he said as I shook my head. He never played games with any of us. "Okay da da" she said playing with his beard.
"Gimme me kiss" he said as she gave him a big kiss. She got up and was about to run off.
"Angel you hurt mommy's feelings. I don't get a kiss" I said pretending to cry as she ran in my lap.
"Ma ma no cry" she said pulling my hands off my face kissing me over and over.
"Thank you angel. I feel better" I let her go seeing Jae about to cry. He was next to us in his bouncer. I reached up on the sofa grabbing his bib as Jason unbuckled him from his straps. His cries was loud and clear now.
"Aye lil man stop crying. Mommy right here. You goin eat" he said as I unhooked my shirt for him to nurse.
"Come on handsome" I took him in my arms as he latched on. I wiped his face as he got comfortable sighing as he ate.
"How your day today babe" I said looking up at Jason. I remembered in our session that I had to balance my time any way I could so me and Jason could still have strong communication.
"It was straight but I'm not goin bore you wit my shit" he said color in with the girls.
"No I wanna know J. Tell me" I said giving him my full attention. I was always interested in his day and how his business was going. I never wanted to brush him off.
"I closed a deal today. Newlywed couple. I negotiated a hell of deal with the buyers" he said as I saw the joy in his face. He lived for his business.
"How much you talk them down too" I asked. I didn't know much about real estate until I met Jason.
"They wanted 70,000 but I got them to 50. Nothing to brag about." He said grinning. He was great at what he did. And I was so proud of my baby.
"Aww shit. Gimme one" I said with my hand in the air as he gave me a five. "Let me find out you seducing these buyers to get them deals" I said smiling at him.
"I mean when they see me they just wanna drop them prices" he said making me laugh
"And that better be the only thing they dropping. Or that's your ass" I said joking with him. I trusted my husband 100000000 percent! I never worried about other woman.
"You jealous huh sexy" he said reaching over kissing my cheek
"Over you. Keep dreaming" I said as he shook his head smiling.
"Faking man. Faking" he said as I moved Jae to burp him. We spent more time with the girls and ate dinner as I was done for the night. Jason put them all to sleep as I took a much needed shower. The hot water was just what I needed. I stepped out walking into our bedroom seeing Jason spread across the bed with just his sweatpants.
"How was that shower" he asked pulling me over to him.
"It was good baby ." I said as he sat me on the bed. He got up grabbing some oil turning the lights off.
"That's good. Lay on your stomach for me beautiful" he said as I positioned myself with my towel around me.
"What you tryin hide from me. Take that damn towel off" he said making me laugh. I slid it off as he took it throwing it on the floor. I laid naked as he poured some oil from my shoulder to the middle of my back.
"I have to give you a massage when you done with me baby." I said closing my eyes as his strong hands started working my back.
"No you don't. I want you to relax. I'm good sexy" he said making me blush. Jason did things for me out the kindness of his heart because he loved me. Not to get me to do things for him in return. I laid there enjoying this. After I took care of the house kids and Jason it felt good to have him do the same for me.
"What you think about the session beautiful" he asked moving his hands to my waist rubbing in and out.
"I loved it. It was good talking about how we fell in love and old stuff" I genuinely loved therapy because it wasn't often me and Jason got to sit down and just talk about us with the kids or work. So it was good to just have that time.
"Yeah. She was cool. I thought therapy was for crazy people or couples close to divorce but it was aight" he said as I laughed. I damn near had to drag his ass to go.
"I told you J. So can we go back? I can call her and make another appointment if you want" I asked hoping he was on board.
"I ain't got no problem wit it. And if that's what you like than do it beautiful." He said smoothly.
"Thank you J" I said as he rubbed up and down the middle of my back. His hands were magical. I felt his hands go lower as he massaged my ass in a circular motion. "Mmmmm that's your favorite spot huh" I said as he laughed.
"You already know" he said moving laying on top of me. I loved it when he put all his weight in me. I felt so safe when he did that.
"I love you beautiful" he said in my ear as he kissed the side of my face.
"And I love you more" I said as he took my finger intertwining them with his. I loved being this intimate with Jason.
"Nah you don't" he said causing me to smile from ear to ear.
"I do baby" I said turning my body around. He laid on top of me stroking my hair as I wrapped my hands around his neck.
"What I say" he said making me bite my lip. He was so commanding and strong natured which was so attractive to me.
"And what did I say" I said running my hands from his neck to his full beard.
"So you goin fight me on this" he said grinning.
"Pretty much J" We looked deep in each other's eyes as I got so weak. His eyes were so captivating.
"Jason" I said as we never lost eye contact
"Talk to me beautiful" he said gently
"I really appreciate what you said about me when she asked what would be your last words to me" that stuck in my mind every since we left that office. He had a way with his words that even I was still impressed with.
"I was serious. But I can't imagine never seeing you. I wouldn't even know how to even live. It's crazy cause as independent and much of a man as I am, Hue without you I'm nothing" he admitted as I started tearing up "I vowed when I was young to never let no female have control and power over me. I thought it made me look weak and stupid. I ain't wanna get married or couldn't even see myself with no kids. I wanted to play games for as long as I could. Shit was a joke to me." He said honestly. He always opened up to me and I loved that we had friendship first. Having a strong friendship is what kept us so in love. When situations came about, I couldn't always have the wife hat on. I had to be his friend and tell him like it is. Being in love with your best friend was priceless because whenever I felt like no one understood me. I knew Jason did. He knew me inside and out. I'm so glad we took that step before anything else.
"Beautiful when I met you. All my fake ass rules and childish bullshit just faded. It was like shit smacked me over night. Something about you made me wanna get serious and be the man for you. When we would go a day without talking I felt so off. When I ain't see your face nothing felt right to me. I needed you even before you knew it. You always thank me for saving your life but baby you did the same for me" I was crying a river by now listening to him pour his heart out. "When I look at my kids I just can't help but love you more. Like its crazy how now I got 3 kids and I'm somebodies father. All this shit here is cause of you. I can't ever find another woman who can compare to you beautiful and I don't want to. Your my life. When I say I love you more I mean just that. Don't question that shit ever. You my heart" I nodded my head as he wiped my eyes. Once again he had me speechless.
"Thank you" I mouthed as he kissed me over and over.
"Shhhh let me take care of you okay beautiful" he whispered sliding his tongue in my mouth. We kissed passionately as he pulled his sweatpants off. I needed my Jason so bad.
"You up to make love" he said kissing my neck as I ran my nails threw his waves.
"Mmmhmm" I simply said. He kissed all over my body as I knew what was next to come. I definitely was gonna send Miss Nicki a nice little email about us returning. It helped us out in so many ways already.........
