Chapter 22: Agree To Disagree

8 months later.
"Harley walk to mommy" I said placing her in the floor. My baby was 9 months and moving pretty fast for her age. Everyone kept saying she was moving like that cause it was another one on the way but I was not having another baby any time soon.
"Thats it angel" I said crawling back from her as she stepped her chubby legs slowly one foot in front of the other. She was almost to me when Jason walked thru the door. All it took was for her to glance and see a hint of her daddy and she had no interest in anything that didn't have to do with him.
"Da da da da" she said falling on her butt crawling as fast she could to him. That little girl adored her father and he spoiled her rotten.
"Come here daddy's princess" he said picking her up kissing her all over face. She loved his attention and laughed everytime he did that.
"Did you miss daddy" he said as she grabbed the sides of his face with her tiny hands. She just nodded her head
"And was my princess good for mommy while daddy was at work" he said as she pointed over at me
"Ma ma ma" she said over and over as Jason put her down in her play pin
"Ok princess daddy will be back let me go say hi to mommy" he said kissing her forehead as she went back to playing with her toys. Jason walked towards me as I was cleaning up Harley's mess on the floor. No matter how use I got to Jason leaving for work and coming back home I still missed him daily.
"Hey baby" I said as I stood up extending my arms to him
"Hey beautiful" he said as he lifted me off the floor hugging me as I laughed.
"I can tell you missed me" I said as he let me down
"You have no idea" he said giving a sexy look licking his lips at me
"J whatever you thinking stop. Harley still up and I cook finish dinner" I said as he sat down pulling me on his lap.
"Come on baby we can sneak in the laundry room. She won't even notice we gone" he said reaching up under my shirt.
"No baby. You know you can't make it quick so later ok I promise" with Harley getting bigger it was harder for us to have sex as often as we wanted too but we took the opportunity when it presented itself. Jason was use to me giving him whatever he wanted sexually. I never said no when he wanted to try new things. Our sex was definitely still strong.
"I want you right now beautiful" he said in my ear. I was so weak when it came to this man but that all changed when I looked over and saw Harley staring right as us. "Stop baby look" I said pointing over at her play pin.
"Princess you blocking" he said as I got up and he went to grab her.
"Jason don't say that to her " I said laughing as I went to the kitchen. He took a seat on the barstool in the kitchen as he sat Harley on his lap. She played with watch as he turned his attention to me.
"How was your day beautiful" he said to me
"It was good. Me and Harley went for run in the morning. I stopped at the store after. Nothing major" I said as I mashed some potatoes.
"That's good. I hope you relaxed some. But beautiful I wanted to talk to you about something." He said
"I'm listening" I said seasoning the spinach.
"Well I been thinking.... Hue I want another baby." I dropped my spoon and turned to look at him
"Are you kidding" I said as I saw how serious he was
"Yes baby. I think we can handle another one. What you think" he said to me
"J there is No way I'm having another baby right now. We both are doing great with our business and balancing time with Harley. Plus were getting married in 4 months. A baby don't fit into what we got going right now" I said honestly.
"But baby think about it. Harley is walking and getting bigger" he said as I cut him off
"Jason no. I'm not changing my mind. Let's just keep it the way it is now" I said going back to cooking
"So that's it. End of this conversation huh" he said as if he was mad
"J I know you not mad" I said shaking my head
"Nah Hue it's cool. Imma go lay her down. And take a shower call me when you finish dinner" he said going upstairs. I knew I hurt his feelings. He never admitted but I could tell by the way he spoke and got up. I never wanted him to think I was ever brushing him off but I liked how things were now and another baby just didn't fit. But on the other side I never wanted to be upset with me. He always made me happy and I loved him with every fiber of my being. This man would die for me and I could atleast think what he said. He was my world and I should've made him feel more important about his thoughts. I turned the stove off and covered the food. I walked upstairs and saw him laying in bed watching TV. I stood at the door as he pretended not to see me.
"Can we talk" I said waking to the bed sitting next to him.
"Why you asking me" he said still looking at the screen
"Jason baby look at me" I said taking the remote hitting the power button. He just sucked his teeth and looked at the wall. I got on top of him straddling his waist as I caressed his face. I love this man so much and I hated when he was mad at me.
"Can I have a kiss J" I said as he looked at me. He never turned down my kisses. He leaned up and kissed my lips softly as I deepened the kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck as we kissed.
"I'm sorry" I said on his lips breaking our kiss
"It's aight" he said acting like he was over it
"No it's not. Even though I don't agree with you I could have at least heard you out babe. I know how you worship the ground Harely walks on and know you are an amazing father. I get why you wanna have another baby." I said locking my hands with hands.
"I see your point too beautiful and I'm not trying to force it on I just wanted you to think about. That's it" he said to me
"Ok let's make a deal. After the wedding we can work on a baby. That's enough time for us to get a bigger place and plan properly. How that sound?" I said giving him my hand to shake
"Ok I can work with that" he said shaking my hand.
"Nice doing business with you sir" I said laughing getting up
"Where you think you going" he said pulling me back down on him.
"Back to the kitchen I do have a man to feed" I said rubbing my hands up and down his beard
"That can wait. How about you give your man something else" he said unzipping my sports bra.
"Is your daughter sleep" I said pulling at his shirt as he took it off showing off dark smooth skin. His chest was getting bigger and I loved staring at it.
"Sure is" he said leaning back and pulling me down with him as he smacked and rubbed on my ass.
"Well let's get it poppin before she wakes up" I said pulling the covers over us.
"Don't be yelling" he said as I laughed. This man would forever have my heart.
