Chapter 15:You Bring Me Peace

Jen had called Jason a couple of hours ago and let him know what was going on. He got on the first plane back home. I couldn't even believe what had just happened. My father who tried to rape me when I was a teenager was here at my doorstep. I was still fuming with anger and hate.
"How the hell did he find you" Jen said rubbing my back trying to calm me down.
"Jen I have no idea. That man never cared about me back then and he doesn't now. He wants something. Saying he been looking for me" I said as I massaged my temples bouncing my knees up and down
"Hue you have to calm down boo. What do you need me to do"she asked watching me
"I don't need you to do anything Jen I just want Jason" I said to hear softly. I needed my best friend my heart my baby. He always knew what to do when I felt like I was losing control. All I wanted and needed was him at this point.
"Ok I understand. I'll just stay till he gets here though." I didn't wanna be alone and I'm thankful for her being here.
"I appreciate you being here Jen. I know you just trying to help. I just need to lay down." I got up as I headed for the stairs
"Just call me if you need me" she said getting comfortable on the couch. I finally got to my bed and got under the covers. I rubbed my stomach and exhaling and inhaling trying to relax myself and her.
"Mommy's really scared angel. That scary man came and made mommy very mad but I'm sorry for stressing you" I always talked to her when I felt I needed too. She was apart of me and I loved her already more than life itself.
"Mommy didn't have a daddy like you when she was little. Your lucky to have a daddy like yours. He won't ever hurt you" I started to cry as I continued to talk to her and rub my stomach as she moved around. I always felt like that was her way of saying she was listening to me. "Imma be the best mommy I can to you angel. Give you all the love I didn't have. I love you so much" I said as I dosed off shortly after.

All I felt was someone touch me in my sleep and I went off screaming.
"Beautiful stop it's just me baby." Jason said as looked up and saw it was actually him. He rubbed my cheek gently bringing me back to a normal state
"I'm so happy to see you baby. I missed you so much." I said making him lay next to me. I instantly felt safe when he was with me. Loved and protected. He wrapped his hands around me holding me tight.
"I had to get home to my girls. I hate that I wasn't here babe. I'm so sorry. I should've been here. You shouldn't be dealing with that" he said so sincerely
"J you have nothing to be sorry about. Your here now and that's all that matters to me. I just hope he doesn't come back" I said holding on to his hand
"He better not. I don't play when it comes to you or my baby. And I'll do anything in my power to keep yall safe. I put that on my life. I'll die for you and my daughter" he was so serious and I know he meant it but I didn't want him to get upset or do anything stupid cause of it.
"I know baby but can you promise me one thing" I asked turning around to face him
"Anything" he said looking me in the eye
"That you won't do anything that will get you taken away from me. I barely made it 2 days without you so I couldn't imagine being apart for any longer than that. So just promise me that you'll think before you do anything crazy" I wanted him to know how much I meant what I said. He started to look away. I knew he was stubborn and when his mind was made up he didn't wanna rethink a thing.
"Look at me Jason" I said grabbing his chin so he could look at me
"Baby I won't allow anyone to hurt you or make you feel scared. My job is to protect you but I get that it will hurt you more if I wasn't with you. I couldn't take that." He said making me smile.
"Tell me you love me" I said to him caressing his face
"I love you more than anything baby. Your my everything" he said as he kissed my lips softly. I kissed him back missing his lips so much. I rubbed his neck as our kiss picked up. We was in a full make out session.
"Ouch" I said as I broke our kiss.
"Your daughter is kicking the shit out of me" I said as I sat up breathing in and out.
"She is mad at me for not paying her attention" he said as he laid in my lap lifting my shirt and kissing all over my stomach
"Daddy's sorry princess. I didn't forget about you. I'm here now so chill out ok" I rubbed his head as he sat there. I wanted to forget about earlier and just talk to my future husband.
"Baby we need to pick a name. It's getting closer and closer and we still don't have one for sure." I looked down at him as he just sat there
"Which one do you like" he asked still rubbing my stomach
"Harley Rose Thomas" I said. Rose was his mothers name. He was very close to his mom and I loved her just as much. She became a mom to me and we had a great relationship.
"I like the sound of that" he said as he started moving his hand to my inner thigh
"Are you serious or just trying to make me shut up so you can get some" I said pushing his hand away.
"Nah I'm serious baby. I like it. Harley Rose is pretty." He said putting his hand right back where it was. Clearly this was a battle I wasn't going to win but hey we had a name.
"J can you stop. How you know I even wanna go there right now" I said trying to convince my self and him. He sat up and started kissing my neck as I got weak and moaned out.
"Cause that. You can't tell me you don't want me right now baby" he whispered to me as I pretended to fight him off
"I don't. That was reflex J" I said laughing
"Oh you trying to play me huh" he said rubbing his hands down my body "I'll find out myself" he rubbed his fingers on the front of my panties right on my clit
"You not playing fair baby" I moaned out as I grabbed his hand. He didn't even move it. He kept on rubbing

"Mmmmm" was all I got out as I felt him push my panties to that side and continuing his mission.

"Go to sleep baby. I love you" all I heard was snoring as he was out. I was so glad that he was home. He was my piece of heaven on earth and just before I went to sleep I said a prayer thanking God for him and my life I was building. I didn't know whether or not my father would come back or not but I knew that for the first time in my life I didn't have to deal with him alone.
