Scott, Hazel, Malia, and Lori caught up to Liam after they discovered Brett was missing. "Here" Liam said, and Lori picked up Brett's phone. "I think he set a trap" Liam said.
"He's fighting back" Scott said. "And now we know he's alive" Malia said and Lori pulled out the arrow.
"But he's still hurt we need to find him he needs to know we're here" Lori said.
"Wow chill I want to find him too but not at the risk the hunter finding us then killing us I been hunted all throughout my life it's not fun" Hazel said. "He's new we can take him" Liam said.
"What if Brett howls back, he'll lead the hunter right to him" Malia said.
"No, we could find him first there's no human that can track sounds faster than we can and we've got the advantage we've done this before we know what we're doing guys" Scott said.
"I sure hope you're right" Hazel said. "How come I can't catch his scent" Malia asked. "He's masking it" Lori said.
"Can someone tell him not to" Malia asked. "He went this way" Liam said running off with Lori.
"His trap didn't work" Hazel said. "Maybe this hunter is not such an amateur" Scott said. "Or maybe he's learning" Malia said.

"You guys go that way" Liam said motioning the direction. "Or maybe we go in four directions" Lori said.
"I don't think we should split up we should stick together" Hazel said.
"We have the advantage it's four against one" Liam said. "Not if we split up" Malia said.
"Right, I've been doing this, the last three months without your help I think I can make a decision" Liam said.
"Well, if you're deciding to do something stupid and die then go ahead" Malia said. "It's one hunter one amateur who doesn't know what they're doing" Liam said.
"Scott a little help" Hazel said. Scott uncovered the tracks the hunter was covering. "The hunter he's covering his tracks" Liam said.
"There's another" Scott said. "There's two of them" Hazel asked. "Maybe more" Scott said.
"How many hunters have you seen out here before" Lori asked. "A lot" Scott said. "Still wanna split up" Malia asked. "We can deal with it we just need to find Brett's trail" Liam said.
"No, we don't rock balancing Satomi taught us it's him and I know where he's going" Lori said.
