*Sam's P.O.V*
I believe this is like the tenth time I've looked at myself in the mirror while I was trying to pick out a decent outfit for when I go to Hawk's house pretty soon.
Why is this so hard?
I'm sure Hawk isn't thinking about it this much. He'll probably put on some sweatpants and one of his shirts in his closet.
I should probably do the same.
Well, I won't wear sweatpants but I should try not to think about it too much.
Looking over my clothes once more, I picked out some white pants and then a blue tie-dye shirt. It was an ombre of dark and light blue.
Once I had the outfit completed, I put my hair into a low, side ponytail. The one that can go over my shoulder.
The only makeup I put on was mascara and some eyeshadow. I opted for lip gloss but would that be too much?
Hmmm. I'll bring it in case.
A girl always has to be prepared.
Taking one last look in the mirror, I approved of my appearance before grabbing my purse and then leaving my room.
I was getting close to the front door before Anthony stopped me.
"Where are you going?" He asked me.
"I'm going to go and hang out with a friend."
"Who?"
"That's none of your business." I eyed him.
"You don't need to talk to me like that though, Sam." He snapped.
"And you don't need to know my business all the time, Anthony." I said, annoyed.
"Hey, what's going on here?" Another voice came.
It was our mom.
"Anthony is butting into my business once again." I explained, "He keeps wanting to know where I'm going."
"And she's snapping at me." Anthony countered.
"Guys!" Our mom put her hands out. "You can stop the bickering. Anthony, you don't need to butt into your sister's life all the time. And Sam, you don't have to snap at your brother."
"I really need to go." I said.
I'm going to be late if I don't leave now. Hawk already sent me his address earlier in the morning.
"You won't snap at your brother anymore?" My mom asked.
"I'll try not to." I said, honestly.
"Then you can go and get to where you need to be."
"Bye, mom." I said and then hurried out of the door and then went to my car.
When Hawk sent me his address, I knew where it was so it didn't take me long to get to his house.
It took about ten minutes.
I reached his house and I stayed in my car for a bit.
Suddenly, I started to feel nervous.
This would be the first time that Hawk and I would be hanging out, one on one. This hasn't happened before.
What would happen?
A million things could go wrong while we're hanging out but I need to calm down. It'll all be okay and we'll have fun.
While taking a deep breath, I grabbed my purse and then got out of my car. I nervously walked up to the front door and prepared myself to ring the doorbell.
