(They aren't watching a movie. The setting of the lanterns and lights is kind of how I pictured what's happening in this chapter.)
*Eli's P.O.V*
I'm at a place that I'm surprised that I would be at. And you're probably wondering where I'm at. Well, I'm at LaRusso Auto. I know you wouldn't expect me to be here but I really needed to ask Mr. LaRusso a question. A question that would involve his daughter and I need his permission for something. So that's why I'm here.
So I walked through the entrance and I'm immediately greeted by one of his workers.
"Hi, I'm Anoush." He said, "How may I help you?"
"I'm looking for Daniel LaRusso."
"Do you have an appointment with him?"
I shook my head. "I need to ask him a question."
"Quite frankly, I think Mr. LaRusso is very busy at the moment. Maybe I can pass on the message."
"I'm one of his students." I said, seriously. "He knows me."
"Oh, another person who does karate." Anoush mutters under his breath even though I'm able to hear it.
"I'll go let him know."
I watched as the guy named Anoush went to the back to talk to Daniel. I waited by the cars for Daniel to come out so that I could ask him what I needed to ask him. Hopefully I don't need to wait long.
LaRusso Auto seemed busy as workers were trying their hardest to sell cars. If I ever need a new car, I could come here. I'm sure Daniel would give me a good deal.
A few more minutes went by before I heard my name being called. "Eli?"
I looked to the side and saw Mr. LaRusso approached me.
"Hey, Daniel." I greeted him.
"Is there something I could help you with?" He asked.
"Yes, and it involves your daughter."
"I kind of figured that it did." He chuckled, "What kind of help do you need?"
"I want to ask your daughter to prom. And I got this idea of asking her at the dojo. Will it be alright if I decorated the dojo a little bit with some lanterns and lights. Then possibly set up a table with some food. Will it be alright?" I asked.
There were some chills inside of me as I asked him the question. But it made sense because I'm nervous.
"For the prom, huh?" He asked as he put his arm on my shoulder.
"Yeah, I really want to go to prom with Sam." I answered, "She means everything to me."
Mr. LaRusso smiled, "Then Eli, you have my permission. I'm sure she'll love the grand gesture."
"I hope. I want to make this special for her."
"She'll love it." He assured me. "Now I have to get back to work or else I'll get in trouble someway. If you need anything else, give me a call."
"Yeah, for sure." I told him and then I watched as he went to greet one of the customers.
Now that I got Daniel LaRusso's permission to be at the dojo to set up my question for Sam, I now have to get everything that I need because I'm planning on making all of this really special. Sam deserves something special. I'm planning on asking her tonight.
So time to get to work.
*Sam's P.O.V*
I've been laying in my bed, in my room, watching a movie on my laptop. Well, it's pretty much the only thing that I've done all day. I've been on my phone for a bit but I'll just be watching movies as I am comfortable being surrounded by blankets.
