*Eli's P.O.V*
Sam can continue to look at me like I'm crazy but nothing will change my mind.
I've been thinking about this for a bit. For a few days. Ever since the event that occurred at the park. Something felt different after what Robby did to me. It made me be at my lowest point and it made me question why I was a part of Johnny's dojo.
I love having Johnny as a sensei but I can't always rely on aggression. Especially since it didn't work for me when I tried fighting Robby at the park. It only left me with half of my mohawk that then just turned into me having my hair down from now on.
I need some of that balance. In my karate, in my life, in my relationship with Sam. I need it. It'll help me get back some of the confidence that I lost.
"You're telling me that you want to join Miyagi-Do?" She asked.
"Yeah." I nodded. "I want to."
"Can you at least tell me why?"
I started to explain, "I need some of that balance in my life. Ever since that day at the park, I felt different. I felt different to the point where I needed to make a change. I needed to seek some more guidance and not just from Johnny. I think if I join Miyagi-Do then I'll get some balance and confidence. Plus, your dad is a good leader. I trust him, Sam."
And even though Miguel and I are back on good terms, I still can't stay in Eagle Fang. I need Miyagi-Do right now.
I'm sure Miguel will understand.
"I understand your reasoning." She said, "Because if I started in Cobra Kai and then joined Eagle Fang, I would've joined my dad's dojo too. So I'm not against the idea. Plus, I do think it'll be fun if we trained in the same dojo. We could have fun together."
"Oh yeah?" I grinned.
"Oh yeah." She confirmed before she planted a kiss on my lips.
I kissed her back softly before we pulled away.
"Maybe we could have our own training session at the dojo." I smirked at her and she seemed to also like that idea.
"We just won't tell my dad about those."
"Yeah, let's not."
It makes me feel good knowing that Sam is accepting of me telling her that I want to join Miyagi-Do. She loves the idea and I'm looking forward to training with her. I just wonder what her dad will say.
"Training starts tomorrow so you can head to the dojo then." Sam then told me.
"Like just show up?" I asked.
"Yeah." She nodded.
"And what do I tell your dad?" I questioned, "Because you're the first person I'm telling this to."
"Just say the same thing you just told me. He'll understand and he'll absolutely love having you be a part of the team. He'll be ecstatic."
I guess Sam has a point. I'll tell her dad what I've been thinking and then it'll be all good. I can only hope so.
"Are you hungry?" Sam then asked me.
"A little bit." I said, "Why? What do you have?"
"There's some donuts in the kitchen." She said as she got out of her bed. "We can have some chocolate donuts with a glass of milk."
That honestly sounded good if we're gonna be honest.
I got out of her bed and then took her hand. "Lead the way to the donuts, princess."
