*Sam's P.O.V*
"And they got into a fight?" Moon asked me as we were browsing through the clothing section.
"Yeah." I nodded, "Eli ended up getting a bruised nose and then he had bruises in different spots of his body. Miguel had some bruises too."
"Has your love life always been this complicated?" Yasmine asked as she looked at a t-shirt that had sunflowers on it.
I shrugged. "I suppose so."
I'm having a girls day with Moon and Yasmine and we're at the mall, shopping. It felt nice to hang out with my two best friends and kind of get away from all the drama that's happening.
"I can understand Miguel feeling hurt because of the situation but I think the fight was a bit unnecessary." Moon said, "Eli is my ex but you don't see me fighting you."
"I see your point." I nodded.
"Wait.." Yasmine said as she joined back in on the conversation, "Did Eli talk to Miguel about it before he found out?"
I shook my head, "I don't think so."
"That probably explains why he's mad. Since Eli lied to him."
Yasmine agreed with Moon's previous sentence.
Before I started anything with Eli, I made sure to talk to Moon about it so that she didn't feel betrayed. Eli didn't do the same thing with Miguel.
But then again, we were keeping it a secret.
Then it made me want to ask Moon a question.
"How would you feel if you found out about me and Eli?" I asked Moon, "Especially if I didn't talk to you about it first."
Moon seemed a little taken back by what I asked but then she said, "I think I would've reacted in a different way than Miguel. I think I would be shocked at first but then I would be okay with it. I trust you, Sam. I wouldn't be mad at you."
Yasmine pulled Moon in for a hug, "Isn't she great?"
"She's the best." I smiled.
"Aw, you guys." Moon gushed as we complimented her.
"We love how positive you are."
"Yes, I agree." I then gave Moon a hug and she hugged me back.
"I'm glad you guys are my best friends." Moon gave us a smile.
We didn't find anything in the clothing section so we decided to leave the store and try to find another store.
As we passed the food court, I'm instantly hit with the memory of fighting Eli at the mall last summer. He was picking on Demetri and I fought against him with Robby on the same side as me.
Even then, I had a crush on him but that didn't mean I approved of his antics.
"Sam?" I heard someone call my name.
I turned my head and looked at Moon and Yasmine who gave me looks of concern.
"Is everything alright?" Moon asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said, "I just got hit with a memory."
"What kind of memory?" Yasmine asked.
"Just something that happened last summer, that's all."
They looked at me with confused looks on their faces but then they decided to brush it off and not worry about it.
"Let's go see what's at Bath & Body Works." Moon then suggested and we all thought that was a great idea.
