*Sam's P.O.V*
I can feel my heart pounding in my chest as I stumble through the darkness. The walls seem to close in on me, and every step I take feels uncertain. I strain my ears, hoping to catch even the faintest sound of Eli's voice.
"Eli!" I call out, my voice echoing through the maze.
But there's no response, just the eerie silence that surrounds me.
Fear grips me tightly, making it hard to breathe. I can't shake off the feeling that something is lurking in the shadows, watching my every move.
"Eli." I yell again, desperation seeping into my voice. The sound reverberates through the maze, but it's met with nothing but the cold, empty air.
As I continue to navigate the twisting corridors, doubts start to creep in. Will I ever find Eli? Will I be trapped in this darkness forever? But I push those thoughts aside, determined to reunite with him.
"Eli." I scream, my voice filled with a mix of fear and hope. "Where are you?"
My cries seem to get lost in the vast expanse of the maze. The darkness feels suffocating, and I can't help but wonder if Eli can hear me at all. But I refuse to give up. I keep pushing forward, my voice growing hoarse from calling his name over and over again.
Time feels distorted in this labyrinth of shadows, but I press on, fueled by the flickering flame of hope.
"Eli." I shout, my voice cracking with a mix of exhaustion and determination. I won't rest until I find him, until we're reunited and can escape this nightmarish maze together.
As I continued my journey through the maze, the darkness surrounded me like a suffocating blanket. Each step felt heavier, and the silence was deafening. But then, in the midst of the oppressive stillness, a faint voice pierced through the void.
"Sam! Sam, I'm here!" Eli's voice echoed, reaching my ears like a lifeline.
My heart leaped with hope, and I strained to listen, desperately trying to locate him. But the darkness seemed to play tricks on me, obscuring the path and making it nearly impossible to reach him.
I called out his name, my voice filled with equal parts longing and frustration.
"Eli! I hear you! I'm coming!" But no matter how fast I moved or how hard I tried to navigate through the labyrinthine corridors, the darkness held me back, like an invisible barrier.
His voice grew louder, closer, yet still so far away. It was as if the maze itself conspired against us, taunting us with its impenetrable shadows. I could feel the fear and urgency building within me, knowing that time was slipping away.
With every step, I strained to catch a glimpse of him, to see his face and reassure myself that he was okay. But the darkness persisted, shrouding him from my sight. It felt like an eternity, the frustration and helplessness threatening to consume me.
Yet, even in the face of this obstacle, I refused to give up. I clung to the sound of his voice, letting it guide me through the labyrinth, even if I couldn't physically reach him. I knew that as long as I could hear him, I would keep pushing forward, fueled by the strength of our connection.
And so, I pressed on, my determination unyielding, hoping that one day, the darkness would relent, and I would finally find my way to Eli. Until then, I would hold onto the sound of his voice, a beacon of hope amidst the unrelenting darkness.
I immediately sat up, gasps escaping from me as I tried to calm myself down. I really need to calm down because that felt all too real.
Once I calmed down and I looked to my beside table to see the time, it's only 1:30, I had to leave the comfort of my own room, my bed, my soft blankets.
