Chapter 21: Breakfast In Bed

*Eli's P.O.V*

The sound of the front door opening and closing is what caused me to wake up the next morning.

The house felt like it was vibrating and making the walls shake. It caught me off guard but seeing Sam next to me, in my bed, put me at ease.

My mom didn't know that Sam spent the night.

She must've been so tired that she went straight to bed when she finished working.

Which is fine by me and she just left for work again so she would have no clue about Sam being here.

Well, it's a good thing that we had hid Sam's car before my mom came home.

I turned to look at Sam as she is sleeping.

Yes, I'm aware that's it's creepy watching someone sleep but Sam looked like an angel as she is comfortable on my bed. She looked like she was finally at peace.

I wouldn't blame her. I felt like I was at peace too.

But I also felt happy.

Because I finally told Sam how I felt and now we're together.

If someone had told me months ago that this would happen, I would think that person is crazy.

But now I'm the crazy one because I'm head over heels for Sam LaRusso.

And even though our relationship had just begun, I wanted to do something special for her.

So I got out of bed and went to the kitchen so that I can surprise her with breakfast in bed.

I decided to make her some chocolate chip pancakes, scrambled eggs, and some bacon.

It sounds perfect already.

I made the eggs and bacon first because it won't take me long to get that kind of food done. Plus, it'll still stay warm while I make the pancakes.

Then when I finished making the eggs and bacon, I started to make the chocolate chip pancakes.

I've made pancakes by myself before so I knew what I needed to do. Then once the batter was made, I added the chocolate chips.

I made sure to make enough pancakes for the both of us.

Even though this is a surprise for Sam, I'm also pretty hungry.

I put the pancakes onto plates once they finished cooking and then I put the rest of the food on the plates.

Then I added some glasses of orange juice.

Once the plates were on a tray that I got from one of the cabinets, I walked to my room with the breakfast food that I made.

I had to be careful so that nothing spilled.

I made it to my room with ease and I placed my own plate of food on my bedside table and then set the tray of Sam's food down so that I could wake her up.

Getting on the bed, I got closer to Sam as she peacefully sleeps. I brushed her arm gently with my fingers and then placed soft kisses on her face.

Her eyes fluttered open after a few seconds.

"Good morning." I smiled at her.

"Good morning." She smiled back at me.

"I'm sorry for waking you up, but I made some breakfast for you."

"It's okay, you're all good."

I grabbed the tray that contained Sam's breakfast and she gasped once she saw what I made.
