When everyone went to the dojo the next day, the drive-in was the only thing that everyone could talk about. We would say that we would be amazed that a fight didn't occur even though a part of me was hoping that it would happen. Eli was right. I was wanting to fight Tory.

"Henceforth, Miguel Diaz shall be known as The Rainmaker." Demetri said as he used his hands to make this wavey motion, to make it look like rain.

"El Diablo de la Lluvia." Eli said from beside me and he chuckled when he finished saying the sentence.

"Yeah, but if they hadn't fallen for it, we still would've beaten them." I said with my arms crossed over my chest.

"Maybe, but there were still so many ways it could've gone bad." Miguel looked at me.

If Miguel is being civil with Eli, then he is being civil with me too. He doesn't want to show a crack to Cobra Kai.

"What could've gone bad?" Johnny asked, walking up to the group.

"We were about to get in a gnarly fight at the drive in, sensei." Eli said, "But Miguel saved the day."

It feels nice to know that there isn't any tension showing. Especially between Miguel and Eli. Because I don't know what I would do if they got into another fight and I don't know what Johnny would do. He probably would just let them fight it out.

Johnny looked at Miguel with a smile, "Oh yeah? How'd you do that?"

"Told the Cobra Kai's to come to the baseball diamond. Just in time for the grass to get watered." Miguel explained to his sensei.

But after Miguel's comment, Johnny didn't look too impressed. He looked annoyed.

"So you picked a fight, didn't show up and then you doused them with a hose?" Johnny raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, it was sprinklers." Demetri pointed out and that caused all of us to look at him.

"I'll go back to saying nothing." Demetri then put his hands out.

"You just poked the bear. What do you think's gonna happen? Johnny asked all of us, "That they're just gonna leave well enough alone?"

"From everything I heard, it sounds to me like Miguel practiced restraint." I heard my dad say as he came up next to Miguel, "Found a way to get out of a bad situation without anyone getting hurt. What did you want him to do, get in a drive-in switchblade fight?"

Then I heard my dad say to Miguel, "I'm proud of you. You've taken Miyagi-Do teachings to heart."

I saw the look on Eli's face. He seems a bit disappointed that my dad isn't saying that to him. And almost since the beginning, Eli has been wanting to impress my dad even though he was told that he didn't have to.

This must be hard for Eli to watch this interaction between my dad and Miguel.

"Okay, LaRusso, we need to have a talk." Johnny said to my dad.

But they weren't able to have that talk. Because then, Kreese and some guy with a gray ponytail walked into the dojo and I'm not sure why they're here. My dad looked pissed as soon as he saw them.

Then we were ushered into the small building that's at the dojo so that we weren't involved in this conversation between the four grown men.

But even when we were in the small building, it didn't stop us from eavesdropping.

"Your dad is pissed. Who is that guy?" Miguel asked me.

"I have no idea." I said, looking confused.

"He looks like a Highlander." I heard Bert say.
