Chapter 45: In Control

*Sam's P.O.V*

"Maybe we could have a sleepover or something before prom." Moon started putting out ideas because prom is literally almost here.

She's suggesting these ideas to me because I recently found out that Yasmine won't be able to attend prom. She has a wedding to attend in Australia which I already know leaves Demetri devastated. But let me tell you, he did ask her to prom in a really cute way before he got shocked by the news too.

"You want to have a sleepover?" I asked her as I kept a hold of my backpack that's over my shoulder.

It's another day at school and I did find out that today is the day where Tory returns so I'm waiting for her to make her arrival. So that I can confront her and tell her how this is going to go while she attends school.

"Sure, I think it'll be fun." Moon smiled as she was already looking up some ideas of what we can do at the sleepover.

"You want to get ready at my house?"

"Yeah, I can do that." She nodded, "I would just have to bring my dress over too and then we can prepare for prom."

"Yeah, that works." I said before I looked over prom plans as well.

I've already ordered a new prom dress. I figured that I can use the pink dress that I previously bought at the store for another occasion. But because Eli has his purple hair then I figured that I would match with him. I already told him that my dress will be purple so he already picked out the tie to go along with his tuxedo.

And Eli had also already told me that he'll come over to my house on the day of prom. So that we can take pictures together.

"Do you know if Eli got you a corsage?" Moon then asked, looking at her phone.

"Yeah, he did tell me that a few days ago."

"We can figure out what kind of hairstyle we want when it's the day. Unless you want to figure that out before so that it'll be easier."

"I know that I'm going to have curls in my hair, for sure." I nodded.

"I might add some curls too." Moon agreed with me.

It's weird how before Eli and I started dating, even before we started watching movies together, I didn't even think about prom that much. But the time at the mall when I was with Moon and Yasmine, and we were talking about prom dresses, it made me think that maybe Eli will either ask me to prom or he won't. I wasn't even sure he had thought about it a while ago. But then he surprised me at the dojo when he asked me in a really cute gesture.

"Are you thinking about Eli?" Moon smiled at me.

I felt my cheeks warm up at her question. "When am I not thinking about him? He's constantly on my mind all the time."

Which is true. I'm always thinking about Eli and it makes me crave to be near him and have his touch. Sometimes I'll be daydreaming about him without even realizing it.

"You guys are cute." Moon complimented my relationship with Eli.

"Aw, you think so?"

"Absolutely." She nodded, still smiling, "You guys are so good together and I can tell that he makes you really happy."

"That means a lot coming from you, Moon. Thank you so much."

"Of course, of course." She gave me a hug and I hugged her back.

When we pulled away from the hug though, I saw Moon's face change. Her face changed from happy to scared in seconds. I turned around to follow what she's looking at and my face instantly changed too.
