*Sam's P.O.V*

Where is he?

He was supposed to be here like thirty minutes ago and he's still not here. I tried calling him a couple of times and it only went to voicemail.

The pizza has gone cold and the candy has become hard, sticking together as they were in the glass bowl.

It's so quiet in my house because my parents are in their room, getting some sleep after a long day and my brother is playing video games. I'm surprised he's not yelling at the computer screen because usually he is.

With a sigh, I put the pizza in the microwave. I hope that gets eaten in some way because Eli isn't here.

I looked at the tv screen that was ready to be played. It's the first Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland. I might as well turn the tv off.

I did just that before I heard footsteps coming towards me.

"Sam.." my dad said as he's in his pajamas.

"Yeah, dad?" I asked, trying to not get annoyed.

"I just got a call from Lydia, Eli's mom.." he said.

"Okay.." I said, "What's going on?"

"Eli is in the hospital. He got into a car accident."

Sudden worry and panic etched across my face. That completely makes sense of why he's not at my house. He got into an accident on the way here. I can't believe this is happening.

And Eli and I finally made up with each other.

"Are we going to go to the hospital?" I asked my dad.

"Yeah, we are." My dad said, "Quickly put your shoes on."

I didn't think for another second. I immediately went to my room and grabbed some shoes before quickly grabbing a hoodie. It does get a bit cold outside.

I'm not worried about the fact that I'm basically in my pajamas. I'm just worried about my boyfriend.

When I went back to the living room, my parents were there.

"Ready?" My mom asked me.

"Yeah, I'm ready." I nodded.

"Let's go." My dad grabbed the car keys and then he left the house.

"What about Anthony?" I asked my parents.

"He's already asleep." My dad answered, "We didn't want to disturb him."

"So you thought it was a good idea to leave him alone in the house?"

"Do you want to see your boyfriend or not?" My dad looked at me.

"Yes." I said, deciding to not argue with him anymore.

"And besides, grandma is on her way over. I was calling her to watch over Anthony while the three of us went to the hospital." My mom explained.

I only nodded understandably and then waited impatiently in the car as my dad started to drive.

I just want to get to the hospital already so that I can be there for Eli. And give him comfort. I want him to be okay.

This car accident had to happen on the day where Eli and I eventually reunited and we make amends? And where we said I love you to each other?

It's so unfair and I hate it.

I just need him to be okay. Please, let him be okay. Tears so badly wanted to fall from my eyes and for the first time, I let them fall while I'm in the car with my parents. If they hear me cry then I don't care. They'll just know that I care about Eli.
