"Do you have any 3's?" Anthony asked me.

"Go fish." I answered and then my younger brother grabbed a card from the middle of the kitchen table.

"Do you have any 2's?" I asked him.

"Yeah." Anthony handed me a card with the number 2 and I gladly took it before laying it on the table.

We went back and forth for a bit where he would hand me cards and then I'll hand him some cards. We are actually having a fun time playing this game and not arguing with each other.

"Are you okay?" My brother then asked me, "I remember that you were mad a few days ago and I wondered why."

I sighed as I shuffled the cards. "Miguel and I had an argument. He pissed me off."

The reminder of the argument that Miguel and I had completely would rile me up. The way that he was acting made me really mad and I didn't appreciate his attitude.

"What happened?"

"He was being ridiculous about this ongoing situation. Then he was basically demanding me to do as he says and that didn't sit right with me. He was being an asshole."

Jeez." Anthony said as he grabbed some cards.

"And he tried to talk to me before I went back home and I wasn't in the mood to hear what he had to say." I explained as I stopped playing with the cards.

I was basically just shuffling the cards for fun. Now we're in a deep conversation.

"Maybe you should hear him out." He suggested.

"Maybe one day." I said as I took a bite out of my grilled cheese sandwich.

I'm having a bit of a snack right now and then when Moon comes over later, we'll probably order pizza or something.

Prom is literally tomorrow and Moon had talked to me about having a sleepover before prom. We'll get ready together before Eli arrives and we'll head to prom together. All three of us.

"How are things with you and Eli?" Anthony decided to change the topic.

And I feel grateful that Anthony decided to not mention anything else that's about Miguel. He's actually learning from his mistakes.

"We're doing great." I smiled, already thinking about Eli, "I'm lucky to have him in my life."

"I remember when I first found out about you and Eli.." He said, "I was having a hard time believing that because I thought Miguel was still in the picture. But when Eli came over for dinner, I was able to believe it then. You and Eli are good for each other."

I smiled. "Thank you for telling me that, that means a lot."

"Of course, sis."

I continued to eat my grilled cheese sandwich while Anthony stayed quiet for a few minutes.

I know that he has been having a rough time lately because he was recently suspended from school. He was being a bully which surprised me when I heard of it from our dad. And now Anthony is grounded.

Yes, Anthony is supposed to stay in his room and not be on any electronics but our parents aren't home right now. So I allowed Anthony to leave his room and play cards with me.

"I know you feel bad because of what you did.." I said.

Anthony gave me a look which tells me that he feels guilty and this whole thing of him being grounded is really taking an affect on him.
