*Eli's P.O.V*
"So it went bad?" Demetri asked as he was over at my house for a few hours.
"It went so bad that he ended up fighting me." I presented my best friend all the bruises that Miguel gave me.
My nose even got bruised because of the punch that I got.
"That's harsh." Demetri said after he took a look at my bruises.
"But I deserve it."
"You don't deserve it." He shook his head, "You don't deserve to get hit just because you're living your life. You have just as much a right to date Sam like Miguel has."
"But I lied to him about it." I said as I ate some nachos.
We ended up making our own nachos and we didn't use the original tortilla chips. We ended up using cool ranch Dorito chips and honestly, the food is fire.
"I don't approve of lying but from what you told me, you were put in a bad situation when you two were hanging out."
"And because I lied to him, he's mad at me."
"He'll forgive you." Demetri assured me, "It'll just take time."
"And who knows how long that'll be." I sighed as I kept remembering the situation that I'm in.
Can this get anymore complicated?
"Like I said, it'll take time."
I groaned as I leaned back against the couch. I'm so beyond frustrated and I don't know what to do.
"And plus, you should be happy right now.." my best friend said, "You and Sam are going on a date tonight."
Yeah, he's not wrong. Today is when Sam and I are going to the roller rink and have some fun with each other. We'll actually be at a place where we don't actually have to sneak around. We won't have to worry about getting caught.
"Yeah and because the date is happening tonight, I have to get ready."
I stood up from where I was sitting and that caused Demetri to stand up too, so that he can get ready to leave.
"Let me know how it goes." He said as he walked to the front door.
"Will do." I said as we said goodbye to each other and then I had to start getting ready for my date with Sam.
Time to take a shower.

I just arrived at Sam's house and I walked up to the front porch, knocking on the door and waited for it to be answered.
It didn't take long before the door opened and there stood my beautiful date.
Sam looked beautiful in her outfit. She was dressed in light blue jeans and a long-sleeve shirt that had pink and black stripes. Her hair was down with some pieces pulled back so that her hair wasn't in her face. She looks perfect.
"Wow.." I gasped when I saw her, "You look beautiful."
She smiled. "You look good too."
I'm wearing black jeans and a yellow, long-sleeve shirt. I also have a hoodie in my car in case I get cold.
"Thank you." I felt my cheeks heat up at her compliment. "Are you ready?"
"Yeah, I'm ready."
I grabbed her hand and gave her a kiss on the cheek before we both walked to my car. I opened the passenger door for her and she smiled at me because of my gesture.
