I didn't go to school today.

My parents figured that I wouldn't after what happened at the park. Earlier this morning, my mom helped me with fixing my hair. She made the length even and now my hair is alright.

And earlier, Eli texted me that he needed to talk to me. I asked him about what and he told me that it's about karate. I let him know that he can come over to my house after school ends.

I stayed outside of the house for the time being, sitting in a lounge chair by the pool. Let me soak up the sun while I take a nap because I feel so tired.

You'll be surprised to know that I had a few nightmares last night and I only got a few hours of sleep. I'm so tired and if I could sleep forever, then I would.

At first, I thought I wouldn't be able to be ready to have my hair down and let it cascade down my back because of what happened to it. But as I said, I didn't lose a lot of hair. Tory did take off at least an inch and made it completely uneven as well so now my hair is a bit shorter.

Suppose I'll get used to it for a few days and then I'll embrace it. That way I can show Tory that it doesn't bother me.

I now just need to show Tory that I'm coming for her.

As I laid on the lounge chair, having some peace and quiet, I then heard footsteps near me. Which made me look and see my dad arriving home.

"Hey, Sam." He greeted me, "Soaking up the sun?"

"A little bit, yeah." I nodded.

"I was just at the dojo." He started to say, "I'm slowly getting some new ideas for the tournament. Especially with the fact that we now know the new rules."

Yeah, he's telling the truth. There's some new things happening for the All Valley tournament. There's a skill competition which has kata, board breaking, and even weapons display. Then there's separate divisions. A boy's and a girl's.

And we all know that the girl's division is mine.

"I can't wait to continue training for the tournament." I smiled before I got off the lounge chair.

"We'll be going back to the dojo in two days." My dad said.

Then the two of us started to walk together to go back into the house. Since I felt like I spent enough time outside by the pool.

Once we got back inside the house though, I noticed someone that was at our house. Someone who caused enough hell already to my life.

Tory is here.

"What?" I blurted out once I saw her and that caused her to jerk her head to look at me, "What the hell is she going here?"

I glared back at Tory because I suddenly remembered what happened so recently. When she crashed my date with Eli at the park and then cut off some of my hair. Then she laughed in my face about it.

"She wants to go back to school." My mom said.

"That's a great idea." I said, sarcastically, "Then what will happen? She starts another school fight?"

"She had already said that she won't start any trouble."

"Did she only promise that at school but not outside of school?" I asked, "Because let's remember what she did to me just recently."

I showed Tory my now shortened hair and kept the glare glued to my face. Yeah, I'm still pretty pissed off about it.

And when I say shortened hair, I don't mean that my hair is up to my shoulders. But my hair is a little short now because of the recent events that have occurred.
