I decided to go for a walk and clear my head so I got changed and headed to the park.

I started to get tired so I sat down on a bench.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice the approaching figure until it was too late. Nick stood before me, a surprised expression on his face. The shock of seeing him again sent a jolt of drama through me.

"Madison," Nick said softly, his voice filled with a mix of emotions.

I took a step back, my heart pounding with a blend of anxiety and nostalgia. The drama of our past still loomed large, and I wasn't sure how to navigate this unexpected encounter.

"Nick," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. "I didn't expect to see you here."

He shifted uncomfortably, his eyes avoiding mine for a moment. "I come here to clear my head sometimes. It's a peaceful place."

The drama of the situation hung heavy in the air, neither of us knowing what to say next. I couldn't help but wonder if this was fate's way of pushing us to confront the unresolved drama that had torn us apart.

Nick finally met my gaze, his eyes filled with a mixture of sadness and longing. "Mads, I've missed you. The drama between us, it's been tearing me apart."

My heart ached at his words, the pain of our breakup still fresh in my mind. "Nick, I've missed you too. But the drama, it was suffocating us. I didn't know how else to handle it."

He nodded, understanding the weight of our unresolved issues. "I know, Mads. And I've been doing a lot of thinking during this time apart. Maybe we can find a way to work through the drama together."

A glimmer of hope sparked within me, but I couldn't ignore the reality of the drama that had brought us to this point. "Nick, the drama was so intense. Can we really find a way to make it work?"

He stepped closer, his hand reaching out to gently brush a strand of hair from my face. "Mads, I think we can. We just need to be honest with each other and address the drama head-on. We can't let the drama define us."

As we parted ways, there was a sense of hope in the air, a belief that maybe, just maybe, we could rebuild what the drama had shattered. The road ahead was uncertain, and the drama still lingered, but in that moment, we had taken the first steps toward a new beginning—a chance to rewrite our story without the heavy burden of drama weighing us down.
