Determined to retrieve my hat perched in the tree, I leaped down, expecting a graceful landing. Yet, in a surprising twist, my descent took an awkward turn, and I found myself hitting the ground with an audible thud. Celine, who had been witnessing my hat-chasing escapade, gasped as I winced in pain.
"Are you okay?" Celine hurried to my side.
Seated on the ground, I shook my head with a sheepish smile. "I guess my tree-climbing skills need some work."
Celine chuckled, though concern lingered in her eyes. "Let's get you checked out," she said, helping me up.
As we waited for medical assistance, I couldn't help but laugh at the irony of the situation. "All this for a hat," I remarked, rubbing my sore leg.
When the Ambulance arrived, they carefully examined my leg, suspecting an injury from the awkward fall. As I was prepared for transport to the hospital, I shot a playful glance at the tree, where my hat still perched, seemingly untouched by the chaos below.
The hat then fell down and I saw Celine run over to it to retrive it, she then grabbed it and put it in my bag. We then chuckled and made our way into the ambulance car. "Smile" Celine pulled out her phone.
