Dagger had woke up thankfully and we had a small conversation apparently they saw something called a shadow walker and they had asked if i knew what it was. "A little i mean I've heard of the creature but never knew alot of about it" I responded to which they simply sighed. I looked of to the side and sighed myself till I had an odd idea, "I mean you can tell me about it" I said to which Dagger seemed surprised both they and the two in my head seemed surprised by my words.

"I-i mean only if you want to o-of course" I added stuttering on some of my words, damn it that was super awkward! God I wish I could be better at having a conversation but of course I couldn't have that. I looked at them and got comfortable, they seemed slightly excited to tell me about it so I simply made sure I was comfortable and did what I always did best, sit and listen to others speak without interruption. "So basically shadow walkers are a type of monster that usually hate light and tend to stay in the dark or the shadows as the name suggests, they are very fearful of people and they look well their completely black and almost anamorphic, there was never really many of the species, and it was always rare to spot them, and they can kinda like go into peoples shadows and hide in them and the person whos shadow they're hiding in won't even know."

they spoke as I simply listened intently they sure knew alot about the creature and as they had been speaking I was slowly absorbing their negativity from before my tentacles simply just flicking from time to time most likely from boredom from non use. They stopped "I'm probably talking to much about it though, sorry-" "no don't be, please tell me more" I interrupted them as they seemed surprised, I couldn't help it though I was genuinely interested in the creature they spoke of plus though odd seeing them talk so much about something they were interested in made me kinda wish I could do that myself.

And so for the most of the time I just listened to them speak about these shadow walkers and whatever else was on their mind and if the topic made them feel slightly negative I just absorbed it without them knowing or maybe they did and I couldn't tell,oh well it certainly kept their mind of what had happened earlier. I got up from my seat and looked to them, "I'm going to do some stargazing tonight if you care to join me" I said walking to the door outside and well they did follow me to join.

There was a small patch of open grass near the side of the castle that seemed perfect for stargazing, I sat on the grass Dagger joining beside me as we looked up at the stars and moon overhead. I noticed one of a constellation right above us and pointed to it, "that's the constellation Auriga, Its name means 'the charioteer' in Latin. The constellation got this name because its major stars form a shape similar to that of the pointed helmet of a charioteer. Auriga was first catalogued by the Greek astronomer Ptolemy in his Almagest in the 2nd century CE, it contains Capella, the sixth brightest star in the sky. It is also the site of the galactic anti-centre, the point in the sky opposite to the centre of the Milky Way Galaxy, which is located in the constellation Sagittarius, near the border with Scorpius. The nearest bright star to the galactic anti-centre is Elnath, Beta Tauri."

For once I was actually rambling to someone about something I knew and liked it being constellations with dagger, nightmare and error seeming just as surprised as I was when I stopped talking. "Heh now I'm the one that's rambling huh?, sorry about tha-" "no no it's fine like you said it's your turn now I get to listen" they said interrupting me this time. I was surprised but smiled and continued on even pointing out other constellations I could find, this felt nice having someone listen to me for once.....after a few long minutes it was finally time to go inside for sleep.

As I entered my room I looked at the notebook I had took before.....I didn't know whether I should tell Dagger about it cause of its findings or if i should just keep it to myself due to it being about well my life and up bringing. I sighed and took the notebook and sat on the bed, sleep could wait I has to figure out just how much she......Mrs Jane hid from me.....

Today the thing asked for a drink but I ignored it, my daughter had asked for a drink to which I said I would happily get her it, my daughter then looked to the thing and asked why she never heard it speak but it stayed silent. Good if I reinforce the idea they constantly need to be silent then it'll keep them from forming connections to others keeping everything in check.

Last night the thing had gone on to the roof from their room with a sketchbook, apparently we now know vessels can form hobbys and habits without the guidance of anyone else, must try to keep this little hobby of theirs under control.

Last night I didn't let the thing inside like normal instead I left it out in the cold, hopefully this will keep it from continuing its hobby and make sure it has nothing to connect to.

-Vessel age 15-
Today me and my daughter left for a small trip to family, I didn't bring them since no one else in the family needs to know of their existence, Their obedient I made sure of it for all these years I'm sure everything will be fine.

It left, the vessel left into the forest, there's no way it didn't find something to merge with, the experiment is all messed up, I'm hiding this notebook hopefully it won't find it, me and grace are leaving before it comes back there's no way it wouldn't try and gain something or if not it then the other scientists will know and hunt us down, I'm not sorry for what I've done......
Those things should have never existed anyway.
