Jeongin's pov

I woke up that morning feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement. Today was the day I was getting my wisdom teeth removed, and the thought alone was enough to make me feel jittery. Thankfully, Seungmin offered to accompany me to the dentist. He always knew how to calm my nerves, and just having him by my side made the whole experience a lot less daunting.

As we arrived at the dental clinic, I couldn't help but feel a knot forming in my stomach. The waiting room was a familiar sight, but I've always hated how it smelled like disinfectant and toothpaste. It made me feel queasy before even getting called to a room.

The sterile white walls seemed to close in on me, and the sound of the receptionist's keyboard clacking away only added to my nerves.

I was so glad to have Seungmin with me because otherwise I would have nervously fidgeted with my fingers, thinking about how much it would hurt or how long the procedure would take.

"Damn, Jeongin, take a breath. It's gonna be over before you know it. We'll be right here waiting for you." Seungmin reassured me, giving my shoulder a comforting squeeze.

I gave him a grateful smile before taking a deep breath, trying to steady my nerves. Soon after, the nurse called my name, signaling it was time to face my fears head-on.

Inside, I was greeted by Dr. Lee, a friendly dentist who put me at ease with his warm smile. The dental room was bright, with sunlight streaming in through the window. The smell of antiseptic hung in the air, mixed with the faint scent of mint from the toothpaste.

Dr. Lee explained the procedure in detail, and I nodded along, doing my best to push away my nerves.

With a deep breath, I settled into the dental chair as Dr. Lee and his team got to work. The sound of the equipment was oddly comforting, and before I knew it, the anesthesia started to take effect.

I woke up feeling groggy, my head spinning as I slowly regained consciousness. Blinking blearily, I found myself surrounded by familiar faces. Chan, Seungmin, and Hyunjin were all there, wearing concerned expressions that quickly turned into relieved smiles as they saw me waking up.

Seungmin grinned. "Hey there, sleepyhead. How are you feeling?"

I tried to respond, but my words came out slurred and muddled. "Like a marshmallow... fluffy," I mumbled, earning a chuckle from the others.

Chan ruffled my hair affectionately. "You did great, buddy. Now it's time to rest and recover."

Hyunjin passed me a cup of water, helping me take small sips. "Remember to take it easy, okay? We'll take care of you."

I nodded, feeling a contented smile spread across my face."I feel like a fluffly cloud right now..."

Chan chuckled, patting my shoulder gently. "Alright, fluffy cloud, it's time to fly back home."

No one's pov

Back at their dorm, the members pampered Jeongin with blankets and pillows, creating a cozy nest for him on the couch. They took turns keeping him company, sharing stories and laughter to lift his spirits.

As the anesthesia continued to wear off, Jeongin found himself feeling increasingly loopy. He giggled uncontrollably at the simplest things, his mind a fuzzy cloud of bliss.

Changbin raised an eyebrow teasingly. "Are you sure you're not still under the influence of anesthesia?"

Jeongin pouted, pretending to be offended. "Hey, I'm perfectly coherent... I think."

Felix handed Jeongin a bowl of ice cream, grinning mischievously. "Here, enjoy some of your favorite comfort food. It will help with the swelling."

Jeongin's eyes sparkled with delight as he eagerly dug into the sweet treat. "Mmm, brain freeze... but it's worth it!"

After taking a few spoonfuls of the vanilla ice cream that Felix had provided, Jeongin suddenly seemed as if he was in another world.

"Jeongin, are you still with us?" Changbin's voice brought Jeongin back to reality, his thoughts still clouded from the anesthesia.

Blinking confusedly, he tried focusing on Changbin's face. "Huh? Yeah, I'm here... I think."

The members chuckled at his dazed expression, understanding the effects of the anesthesia were still lingering.

"Guys, I just realized... if I'm a strawberry, does that mean I'm technically a jam?" Jeongin exclaimed, his words still slurred, but his eyes shining with amusement.

Changbin burst into laughter, shaking his head. "Only you would come up with something like that, Jeonginnie."

Hyunjin grinned, leaning back against the couch. "I think the anesthesia is starting to kick in even more now."

Felix chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Well, whatever you are, you're our favorite strawberry... I mean, jam, I guess."

Jeongin grinned happily, feeling a warm glow of affection for his members. "Thanks, guys. I don't know what I'd do without you."

The guys burst into laughter, and Jeongin couldn't help but join in, the sound echoing through the dorm and filling him with a warmth that had nothing to do with the blankets wrapped around him.
