Chapter 12

Skyler Reinhart POV/:

The week went back in a blink of an eye and soon it was Friday. I was sitting at the lunch table with Paris, Zack and Selena. Jason was two years younger than us and two grades below so his lunch time was at a different time than ours.

It was 4th hour and After school today I decided I'll head over to Kates house on my own. I had already had my overnight bag in my locker and plus I remembered the way from last time.

Perks of having a good sense of direction.

I would've walked with Kate but she didn't come to school today, she said her head was hurting. I suggested to her that we reschedule our weekend together but she very strongly disagreed and said she still wanted me to come over.

It made my heart flutter hearing that she wanted to see me so badly even though we've been around each other every day at school since we found out we were each others mates.

A few things I've noticed about Kate is that she's very Straightforward and doesn't like for people to beat around the bush.

She's a huge flirt and she likes to tease. Shes very clingy which I don't mind and She's also very affectionate....no matter where or who we're around she's never shy about physical affection.

Her intentions are always clear with me, she's honest about what she wants and what she expects also about what she doesn't want and what she dislikes, it makes it easier for me to understand her....but me on the other hand.

I'm a nervous rack around her, I can't say what I want from her outright without getting embarrassed. I'm never the first to start the kissing or any other kind of physical affection.

It's pathetic really.

And I feel kind of bad about it.

"What are you over there thinking so intensely about?" Asked Zack who was sitting across from me and Selena, next to Paris who was silently enjoying his lunch.

"Nothing.....it's just- Do Kate seem more um...active in our relationship then I am?" I asked they all looked at each other knowingly before answering me.

They've all met and hung out with Kate before, like I said before we're almost always together now, that includes when I hangout with my friends however I've never met her friends officially...I've seen them but never talked to them and I don't know their names.

Anyways the fact that they've met Kate is the reason why I decided to ask them....maybe they see something I don't.

"Yes" they all said at the same time. I was in disbelief I didn't expect them to be that honest.

"What?!" I said "Your basically the bottom" said Selena checking her makeup in her hand mirror. "Yeah dude she completely dominates you" said Zack drinking out of his bottle of milk.

"No She doesn't" I said in denial.

Surely they were exaggerating.

"Sky darling don't lie to yourself it's a bad habit to have" she said closing her hand mirror before looking at me. "She gives off this dominant, aggressive energy and honesty I live for it that's why I like her" said Selena. "I agree but honestly it's sad that you're so submissive, as an Alpha aren't you suppose to be all, my way or no way or something?" Said Zack. I looked down sadly, he was right just another one of the many things that's wrong with me as an Alpha to be.

just then Selena kicked his leg under the table causing him to flinch and groan.

"Ouch Selena!" He shouted she glared at him before putting an hand on my arm in a attempt to comfort me. "But it's fine though, there's nothing wrong with being the less dominant one in a relationship, you balance each other out" said Selena but I still didn't feel any better.
