Skyler Reinhart POV/:

In addition to the flowers I also bought chocolates from my travels, it was said to be of the richest quality and once upon a time royalty enjoyed it.

Who's better to eat something loved by royal than Kate.

I smiled to myself thinking about her for a moment before garbing the flowers and chocolate and getting out of the car. I walked calmly up to the pathway of the house but stopped dead in my tracks when I glanced up at Kates bedroom window once more only to see that she was not alone in her room.

My heart sink when I saw some woman in Kate standing so close to each other in front of the window. I watched as the woman brushed Kate's hair to the side tucking it behind her ear.

Kate smiled that heart stopping smile at her. That's when what Xavia said before we left came to mind.

"If you agree you'll have to factor in the possibility that Kate could find a new mate within that time"

Xavia's words rung in my head as I stared down at the ground, my heart throbbing with pain in my chest. I knew this was a possibility yet I still hoped it wouldn't become reality. Kate....with someone else was a nightmare to me but I promised myself long ago that if I returned and Kate was happily with someone else then I'd step aside.

I looked back up at the window seeing the two playing around with each other.

She deserves to be happy......even if that's not with me.

Kaitlyn Night POV/:

I was in my room on my bed scrolling through my phone when suddenly there was a knock on my bedroom door. "Come in" I said, the door swung open and Liza walked inside "Oh Your up still" said Liza surprised "Yeah I can't seem to sleep tonight, what are you doing still up?" I asked "half Vampire here remember, I hardly get tired" she said with a shrug as she came and flopped down on my bed.

"So what's the matter your usual asleep before everyone else" said liza.

"I don't know for some reason I feel weird like something good's going to happen I just can't tell what" I said.

"Maybe you'll win the lottery" said Liza. "That would be awesome" I said. Liza then turned her head to look at me but stopped dead in her tracks for some reason as she stared at me.

"Kate" she said "Hm?" I replied. "Don't freak out but there's a spider tangled in your hair" she said I rolled my eyes "Stop playing" I said Liza shook her head "Kate I'm not joking" she said in a serious tone. My blood ran cold and in that moment I did the exact opposite of not freaking out. I jumped up off of the bed and started shaking my head and screaming.

I hate bugs especially spiders. During my freak out I hadn't noticed that I was near the window and nearly went through it until Liza grabbed my arm and stopped me.

"Kate calm down you almost went through the glass, here let me get it" said Liza standing in front of me. I nodded my heart pounding in my chest from fear, I watched as Liza untangle a part of my hair and brushed it behind my ear before carefully grabbing the spider that was resting in my hair.

"There I got it" said Liza I sighed a shaky breath. "Ok now kill it" I said Liza shook her head "Why would I do that, it would make a great pet for you, here Pat it" she said reaching out the hand with the spider in it towards my face, for her to be the same age as me she sure do play entirely too much. "Stop it what is wrong with you" I said stepping back Liza chuckled "Oh calm down I'll flush it down the toilet" she said.

"Hurry" I said shooing her away.

Right after Liza walked to the bathroom to flush the spider, I got a strange feeling like someone was watching us just now. I looked outside my bedroom window but no one was there
