Chapter 65

Skyler Reinhart's POV:

I followed the smell until eventually we saw a large building in the distance. I was about to go running down the road when suddenly people started coming out from both directions, both in front of us and behind us.

Soon I heard a slow clap and an unnerving voice.

"Well well, they said you changed but man I didn't think you changed this much" said the voice I looked up to see Teddy smirking at me and Chasity along with Chase standing there both with sliver weapons in their hands.

I instantly started balling my fist in anger as I looked at them, my heart pounding in my chest as the memories of what they did to me came rushing back.

"Get the hell out of our way or die where you stand" I said.

Teddy and Chasity both looked at each other before bursting out laughing. "Look at her trying to act all tuff when in reality she's just a weak freak" said Teddy.

"Don't make my alpha repeat herself, she said move dumb ass" said Selena with a growl.

Growls also erupted from the rest of everyone from both sides as well. "Oh? Don't tell me your backing up this sick Freak do you even know what she did to my girlfriend" he said pulling Chasity closer to him.

My stomach twisted with disgust, of course she'd pounce on him right after he rejected me, I knew she always liked teddy but she was suppose to be my sister did she really have to lie on me to everyone in order to get what she wanted?.

"I don't have time for this" I said before walking forward.

My plan was to walk straight through them when one of the wolves from their side launched at me.

I grabbed his head and in one swift move I snapped his neck before ripping it from his shoulder causing blood to squirt all over me as his lifeless headless body fell to the ground at my feet.

I then growled as I looked around at everyone else seeing them hold petrified looks on their faces. Even Chasity, Chase and Teddy looked shocked by my strength, "I am not the same sky you knew before" I said Teddy swallowed hard but then shook away his shocked look before speaking trying to act fearless. "We'll see about that" he said and it was as if the terror they all once felt disappeared by their alphas confidence that he could beat me.

There was at least 20 pack wolves with him not including Teddy, Chasity, and Chase That makes 23 wolves.They all started attacking us and of course just as fast as they came at us they died even faster.

Me, Kevin, Liza, Selena, Paris and Xavia all took them down with ease one by one until only Teddy, Chasity, and Chase where left.

"H-How" asked Chasity, standing behind Teddy in fear.

"I told you......I am not the same sky anymore" I said growling as I wiped the blood from my face.

"Bullshit!, you're still weak....I guess only a real man can take you down" he said obviously referring to himself.

I sighed this is fucking stupid.

"Oh, well call me when you find one" I said tiredly signaling for the others to follow me so we can continue looking for my daughter. I really don't give a shit about those 3 idiots my daughter is all that matters right now.

Just as I was about to walk past them I felt the sting of a cut across my arms.

I put an hand on it feeling blood rolling down from the cut, I then looked up at Chasity who was holding the silver blade with a grin.

"I've always hated you and now I finally get the chance to kill you" she said with a growl as both her and her brother shifted into their wolf forms along with teddy and stalked towards me.

I gave them a chance to change their mind out respect for the fact that even though I was treated completely like shit in their house I still had a place to sleep instead of being thrown out on the streets.

But now they've really pissed me off.

"Go we'll handle them" said Selena as her, Liza and Kevin stepped up.

One of the wolves tried to attack me and there was no doubt in my mind that it was teddy but Kevin shifted and launched forward attacking it instead.

While Liza, Selena and Kevin took on Teddy, Chasity, and Chase. Me, Xavia, and Paris went forward towards the building where I was sure my daughter was.

As we were walking up I noticed a body leaning up against a black car and the closer I got the clearer I seen the persons face. "Donna?!" I said confused as I then rushed over to her crouching down in front of her, Xavia did the same immediately checking her pulse.

"She's barely alive" said Xavia. "What's wrong with her?" I asked panicked. "Looks like poison" said Xavia just then Donna opened her eyes and when she saw me she immediately started crying and apologizing.

"I'm so sorry sky" she said taking slow shallow breaths.

"What for?" I asked confused as I held her hand in mine. "He threatened to kill her if I didn't do as he said" she said but I was still so confused.

"He who Donna?, and who did he threaten to kill?" I asked but you could tell she was barely in the right state of mind because she couldn't focus on one thing at once. "He has your daughter" she said holding my arm "He's going to kill her" she added.

Mine and Xavia eyes both went wide. I need her to focus she needs to tell me who.

I cupped Donna's face trying to get her to focus on me.

"Here I can help" said Xavia before grabbing Donna's arm. I watched as black veins traveled from Donna's arm to Xavia's.

"What are you doing?" I asked shocked.

"I can't cure her from the poison that's already settled in her body but I can take her pain away so that she'll be able to focus a little better" said Xavia.

I never knew we had such an ability.

I watched as Donna gasped and sighed relieved as her heart beat slowed down a little.

"Ask her again" said Xavia, I nodded and looked at Donna.

"Donna I need you to tell me who took my daughter" I said. "It was Joseph, he has your daughter" said Donna calmly.

Xavia's eyes went wide as she looked at me with a look of pure fear. "I-It can't be" she said, why was she so scared?, wait is Donna talking about the same Joseph Xavia told me about?.

My uncle.

Just as I was about to stand up Donna grabbed my wrist tightly.

Her eyes were wider open now as she looked at me. "Please Sky, he has my daughter as well......I need you to save her for me.." she said as tears streamed down her face.

I could hear her heart beat getting slower and slower starting to give up.

"Take care of her for me.......please her name is Riley" she said before eventually he heart completely stopped and her hand dropped from my wrist.

I moved my hand up to her face and closed her open eyes.

I watched as Xavia said a prayer for her next to me and I sighed. I may not have liked Donna all that much but I didn't dislike like her either.

Still No one deserves to die like this, I'll honor her wishes and save her daughter.....if it was me I'd want someone to do the same. I stood up and wiped the tears I didn't even know were flowing down my face. "I want her buried with the rest of our fallen" I said Xavia nodded.

"Guys you need to come see this" said Paris from the inside of the building we were in front of.

I took a breath to regain my composure before both me and Xavia walked inside.
