NEAR (NATE RIVER)
I was in a jail cell with my teammates. And for those of you who are wondering if I liked it, no I didn't like it, but at least I was able to play with some of my toys. I didn't like not knowing when we were going to get out, but this is what we were stuck in right now.

I sighed and lowered my head. "Can this morning get any worse?" I asked. Suddenly, we heard someone tap the bars of the cell. We all looked up and saw Commander Aizawa there. "Look, Commander Aizawa," I began. "I know that we stopped in the middle of the road, but we..." He raised his hand up and I stopped talking. "I get it," Commander Aizawa said. "I've had a rough morning too. For example, my daughter is a teenager who wants to hang out with her friends all of the time and my son is still not old enough to understand life itself." We all stayed silent after Commander Aizawa told us that. "Sorry about your kids," I blurted out. "But they're kids, what do you expect?" Commander Aizawa sighed. "Okay, you're right about my kids," he said. "I don't have kids," I commented. "Me neither," Gevanni added. "I have four kids," Anthony said. "Three girls and one boy."
Commander Aizawa nodded. "Nice," he let out. We watched as Commander Aizawa took a bite of his chocolate-glazed donut. I sighed. "Dude, we had a long morning," I informed Commander Aizawa. "So have I," he said. We watched as he ate the rest of his donut. We waited until he was finished his donut before Commander Aizawa continued talking to us. "Maybe I should have the kids stay with their grandma for a little bit so that their dad can cool off," he said out loud. "How long are we going to be in jail?" I asked. Commander Aizawa shrugged. "I don't know," he answered. We all looked at each other realizing what was going on. "Hold on," Anthony said. "You're not actually..." "You stopped in the middle of the road and you are all very lucky that no one was on the road backed up behind you." "You know you could have just given me a ticket," I heard Anthony say. "Why did you take us in?"
"It's illegal to park on a road like that," Commander Aizawa answered. "And it didn't look like you just broke down." "Come on!" Gevanni said out loud. "We were gonna drive soon! Can you at least let us go?" Commander Aizawa shook his head. "It doesn't work that way," he answered. "I can't just let you guys out because I feel like it." "But we helped you catch Kira," I reminded him. "Besides, what would your wife think if she found out that the very people who helped you catch Kira were in jail?" "Do not bring my wife into this!" Commander Aizawa snapped. "You two should have moved along the road or pulled over." We all stayed silent for a few seconds. "So...now what?" Gevanni asked. "Well," Commander Aizawa began. "You're gonna have to wait for someone to bail you out." We were all shocked to hear that. "WHAT?!" we all asked. "Seriously?" Anthony asked. "Sorry," Commander Aizawa said. "If it were up to me, I wouldn't lock you up, but it's out of my hands." He paused. "I'll see you in at lunchtime," Commander Aizawa continued before he left.
We all continued to sit there knowing that we were more than likely never going to be out before the day ended. "Well this is disappointing," I heard Near say before I looked at him. "I'm not even able to have Superman team up with Batman to defeat General Zod." I watched as Near played with his Superman and General Zod action figures. I sighed and lowered my head.
