AT MIDNIGHT

TOKYO, JAPAN

                                                                                   THIRD PERSON POV

Chief Matsuda woke up with a gasp. He sat up in his bed breathing heavily. It took him a few more seconds to calm down. Even though he seemed calm, a weird feeling lingered in the back of his mind. Knowing this, he took his phone off the nightstand and dialed Commander Aizawa's phone.

MEANWHILE...

                                                                                THIRD PERSON POV

Commander Aizawa was on the bed with Eriko. The married couple was fully clothed and were kissing each other passionately. "I could kiss you all night," Commander Aizawa said softly. Eriko snickered. "That would be lovely, dear," she said. Seconds later, Commander Aizawa and Eriko started kissing again before they heard this phone ring. Eriko groaned and stopped kissing her husband. "What is it now?" Commander Aizawa asked in an inpatient tone. He grabbed his phone and flipped it open. "Hello," he said. "Hey, Commander Aizawa," he heard Chief Matsuda say. "Is something wrong, Matsuda?" he asked. "I don't know," Chief Matsuda answered. "I have this nagging feeling in the back of my throat." Commander Aizawa widened his eyes. "You're not gonna throw up, are you?" he asked. "No, no," Chief Matsuda answered. "I'm not. I just have the feeling something is wrong." "Wrong?" Commander Aizawa asked. "What's wrong?" he asked. "I don't know," Chief Matsuda answered. "I have a feeling it has to do something with the cruise ship that set sail last night." "The Heart of the Ocean?" Commander Aizawa asked. "Yes," Chief Matsuda answered.

"What about the Heart of the Ocean?" Commander Aizawa asked. Chief Matsuda hesitated. "Matsuda, what's wrong with the Heart of the Ocean?" Commander Aizawa asked. Chief Matsuda took a breath before he gave Commander Aizawa the answer. "I think it's gonna sink," Chief Matsuda.

MEANWHILE...

                                                                             THIRD PERSON POV

Lieutenant Gonzalez stayed in the room when the private came in. "Lieutenant Gonzalez," the private said. "Private, have you found Captain Kacho yet?" Lieutenant Gonzalez asked. "Lester misses him." Lester whimpered. "I'm afraid not, Lieutenant," the private answered. "But we do have people who wish to see you." Three men came in who were soaking wet. "What happened  to you three?" Lieutenant Gonzalez asked. "Water aboard the ship, Lieutenant," the middle one answered. Lieutenant Gonzalez made a confused look on her face. "Water in the ship?" she asked. All of the men nodded. "Yes," the middle one answered. "I'm afraid so. Right aboard the ship. We were the only ones that made it out of the first deck." Seconds later, a woman of Japanese descent came into the room. She was also soaked. The men turned around and looked at her. "And so did her," the first man added. Seconds later, another woman who was also Japanese entered the room. "And her," the first man added. Seconds later, a Filipino woman made it into the room all soaked too. "So did she," the first man added. Then, a Chinese woman came into the room all soaked. "She survived too," the first man added.

Seconds later, a Chinese man who looked to be in his early 20s came into the room. "And...he's the last one, I think," the first man said. "Anyway," the private began. "Knowing that water has made it into the ship, it's safe to assume that the ship is going to sink. And with Captain Kacho absent, it leaves you in charge." "Um, where's Captain Kacho?" the Chinese woman asked. "No one knows," the private answered. "The last we heard him was when he was going to go take care of a situation." "What situation?" Lieutenant Gonzalez asked. "There have been a few complaints of a masked man acting like Michael Myers on board the ship and was freaking people about," the private answered. "What?" Lieutenant Gonzalez asked. "I was the last one who heard him before he said that he was going to go take care of an emergency. He told me to take control of the ship. He hasn't contacted me ever since. Do you think he's alright?" The private shook his head. "I hope so," he answered. "But with him out of reach, we have to take control into our hands."
