lost me (Minho×ot8)

chapter 1

So this an OT8 story minho centric... as i said minho is a switch since it suits his personality more...i don't know for other members, but i guess everyone is a switch at some point...it depends on the couple...The characters will later introduce within the story, most likely I will be updating every other day enjoy.

Minho's pov
My eyes shot open as I tired to catch my breath...again this dream...again these memories of the day I lost everything...of the day I lost the love of my life...my daughter...my unborn child.
"Damn it "i yelled getting up from my bed, I reached out with shaky hands toward the medicines that were on the nightstand...the doctor gave them to me to help with my insomnia but they are clearly not working one bit...I couldn't sleep the whole night and as soon as my eyes closed I got the nightmare again.

"I am here"
A loud voice came from outside my window making me frown, I live in the middle of nowhere near the mountains...this place is abandoned the only house here except mine is owned by some rich old man who is not physically able to live in a place like this...i am made sure to investigate this area before i came...it is the reason why it made me rent this house ,it is far away from everyone and everything.
I carefully walked closer to the window looking outside, I frowned when my eyes fell on a huge truck and people going back and forth in and out of the house.
"Please be careful that box contains fragile things " a young-looking man maybe around my age said to one of the workers...don't tell me someone is moving into that house.

I kept staring at them and the man who was directing them, I assume he is the one moving in here...god he is so damn loud...suddenly he looked toward me...or more like my window, we stared at each other for few seconds before he waved his hand...I stepped back closing the curtains, ignoring him.
I took a deep breath before I checked the time...it is 5 am....who moves in at freaking 5 am...I shook my head, walking toward the kitchen I prepared a quick breakfast before I left the house for my morning run...there was no sign of the boy near the truck and I didn't bother to check more...I just hope i don't need to look for another place to live in...I barely managed to find this one.

My name is Lee minho, I am almost  twenty-six years old...two years ago I had a normal life, I had a family...a wife...the light of my life lee jisoo, and my little three years old daughter Lee Mina. Jisoo and I grew up together we were neighbours...she was my first love...my first everything...and the last...my dream was always to be a soldier to join the military but my love toward jisoo was as strong as my love for my dream...I proposed to her just when we were twenty one soon after we got married and my little princess came to love.
I start running faster remembering my little baby...she was innocent she was an angel but they killed her...because of me...it was my fault...I killed her...I killed them...
I stopped by the lake trying to catch my breath, my whole body was shaking from the memories...that cursed day.

Flashback

" baby, please...I know that you care for your job but this operation is risky...kang heechul is not to mess with...what if he tries to hurt you please" jisoo said making me chuckle.
"No one is bigger than justice and law honey, we are so close of getting him...he can't hurt me....your husband is a not easy to deal with after all" i said kissing her hand.
"So humble agent lee" she said chuckling.
"I promise you love, after this operation I will take a long vacation you, mina and I will go into a trip wherever you want" I said patting the little girl's head who was sitting in the back seat.
"Please be careful " jisoo said.
"Always " I answered smiling at her." Should we go now? Your parents must be waiting for us" I added

"Oh...I forgot my bag in the living room" jisoo said making me chuckle.
"I will get it for you" I answered pecking her lips.
"Kiss " mina said making me smile widely.
" a kiss for my princess too" I said kissing her cheek." Papa will be quick I will get your mom's bag when we are going to visit grandma and grandpa" I added ruffling her hair.
"Yes" she yelled clapping her hands...she  is so cute.
"I will be quick love" I said stepping out of the car, i entered the house heading toward the living room...I scanned the place looking for jisoo's bag to find it on the table near the balcony."She is so clumsy I swear" I whispered shaking my head.

I smiled grabbing the bag, I could see my two girls from the window mina was staring at me from hers and as soon as she saw me she waved at...she is....they are my world.
I chuckled when she throw me a kiss, I miss her already. I was about to walk out when a loud noise echoed throughout the whole street...my body froze when I saw my car on fire...
"Jisoo mina" I yelled throwing the bag way running outside "jisoo" I added.
"Sir stop" someone from the people who started to gather around the car said.
" my...my wife...my daughter..." I yelled trying to push them away.
"I...I am sorry...if they were inside the car...there is no way they survived this....sorry for your loss"

I don't even know who said that as I fell on the ground watching the car burn into aches...this is because of me...they killed them because of me...i am going to destroy that man...I am going to burn everything he cares for...I am...tears started to fall down my eyes as I blankly stared at the car...

End of flashback.

I dried my cheeks walking back to my home, if you could call it home...I lost my true home when they died...I shut myself from my parents...jisoo's parents blamed me for her death...they are right...I killed her and my kids.
I didn't even realise that I am finally back in front of my house...I was about to open the door before i was cut off
"Hey there you must be our neighbour "...wait...did he say our...they are more than one,i glanced behind me to be meet with a new man...not the one i saw earlier so they were more than one...great..." my name is jeongin...yang jeongin...nice to meet you" he added offering his hand for me to shake.

I stared toward it then back at him " keep your noise down" I said entering the house ignoring the boy, that's what i needed...annoying neighbours.
I took a quick shower before I made my way toward my office...it was a small room where I work...and by work I mean look for that man.
"I will kill you with my own hands heechul " I said glaring at his photo.
I clenched my jaw before I opened my computer...I am all alone on this...after I felt the military I was left to face him by myself...I will avenge my family...then I will reunite with them....

Flashback

"What you did was foolish agent lee" my supervisor yelled hitting the table.
"Because of you we lost track of kang heechul...we were looking for him for years now he is missing..."
"Kang heechul killed my family...he took everything from me" I yelled shaking with anger...by the time the ambulance and firefighters arrived at the scene there was barely any bodies left to burry...my life was over...I attacked heechul hiding all alone but that bastard managed to escape and I was shot in my left shoulder...heechul always lived undercover, we managed to find his hideout but because of me he ran again...I wish I would have died instead of losing him.

"You are an agent...you will do as we say..."
"I resign...I don't need any of you....I will get him myself " I said cutting Mrs
Choi off before I stormed out of the room.
It is been a week since they died...a week since I have been home...I swallowed hard entering my house...it feels odd...cold...I hit the light switch scanning the place...even with the light on it feels dark...without my princess giggles without...
"Damn it" I hit the chair that was near me on the wall breaking it.
I need to find him...I won't rest until kill him.

I fell on my knees clenching my hair, my eyes fell on jisoo's bag that was still on the floor...I walked toward it picking it up...if it was not for this bag I would have died with them...I wouldn't have suffered their loss...suddenly a piece of paper fell from it.
I sighed picking it up "no"my whole world froze when I saw the ultrasound...no...jisoo...this is jisoo's she was...she was pregnant...she...
"No god...please " I said breaking into tears...

End of flashback.

It is been almost two years since I made it my goal to find kang Heechul but I have failed to do so...I failed my family when they were alive...and I failed to avenge them...
