Hyunjin's pov
" this feels stupid " jeongin said as he moved hyunsung up and down." It is not like they love each other, it makes me angry...even though I hate that woman but I feel sorry for her" he added staring around. Lia and suho didn't arrive yet...neither did cain and his wife...lia's men and their significant others are here...and some high ranked members that were invited to the ceremony.
"Do you think lia cares about that?" I asked, I was carrying kihyun who was staring around the room with curious gaze...he is different and I know that...even jeongin noticed...unlike hyunsung, he is more aware of his surroundings...he is going to become a smart kid...and I need to make sure that he stays on the right path.

"I mean she dated chaeryeong, I know it was because she used her to get close but still...is there a possibility that she fell for her?" He said making me sighed.
"I don't know, even if she did....she will never admit that...she would rather marry suho and live miserably instead...plus I don't think Cain and her mom will approve of her getting in a relationship with someone outside the league...let alone the daughter of the previous president of South korea" I answered, last time I checked he was going to retire...I don't know if he kept his words.
"About Cain's wife...I have never seen her before...how is she?" The younger asked raising his eyebrow.
"As dark as her husband and she hates me as much as her oldest daughter...so it is better for us to stay far away from that woman " I replied making him frown but nod...I am surprised that she didn't try to hurt me...or get me killed...maybe she is afraid of Cain...if something happens to me...he will suspect her first...but now I think that he doesn't need me anymore...this is getting bad really quick...I need to be careful.

"What a perfect family" jeongin said rolling his eyes.
"Diya" I whispered feeling someone watching me before I saw a dagger fly my way...in a blink of an eye i dodged it with ease before I glared at the girl who walked into my view.
"Seriously, he is caring kihyun what is wrong with you?" Jeongin yelled looking pissed as his eyes fell on the dagger what hit the wall behind me instead.
"God, this man is getting braver...do I need to remind you who you are talking to?" Diya said clenching her jaw " just because he is your husband it doesn't give you some kind of immunity...remember your place" she added.

"You..."
"Jeongin enough " I said shaking my head.
"You are looking for trouble even today sis" Mira said walking toward us...she glanced between the kids then at her sister " it is our unnie's wedding day...stop messing around" she added calmly.
"There is no harm in having some fun" diya said smirking at me " this is getting worse for you half brother...our big sister will get stronger after marrying suho " she added.
"Come on let's go" mira said dragging her as they walked away.
"Hyung, she is right...why did you recommend suho..."
"Because Cain was testing me jeongin....you heard him...if I recommended someone weak or unsuitable for lia I don't know what he would have done" I said cutting him off " but don't worry about him, as long as he can't beat me...he is no threat." I added.

"What is it about this whole beat me thing...I don't get..."
"Attention everyone " one the guards yelled cutting jeongin off before Cain and his wife stepped into the room like some kind of royals...they walked toward their seats without sparing a look at anyone.
It didn't get long before Lia and suho arrived as well, they walked hand on hand toward the table where her parents sat...and of course my dear sister did miss the chance to glare at me as she walked by.
"Alright " Cain said moving his hand up " this is a happy night, we are here for celebrate the reunion of my oldest daughter and one of our finest warrior...I wouldn't have chosen anyone better than him to have the honor of wedding my daughter...suho, you are aware of your responsibility now as lia's husband...and I don't need to remind of that" he added.

"No, sir" suho said bowing his head.
"Great,let the celebration begin...enjoy your night everyone" cain said before some old traditional music started to echo through the place.
" if this can't get any weirder...I feel like I am in the middle ages" jeongin said shaking his head." When can we leave?" He added.
"Soon,let's just make our presence known" I replied making the younger sighed but nod.
I could feel multiple pairs of eyes glaring at me...diya...lia and her loyal men...and Cain's wife...this is going to be a lovely evening.
I glanced toward Cain who was sipping his drink with an ugly smile on his face...I didn't even know that he is capable of smiling...but it was not this genuine innocent smile...it was dark....toxic...a smile that sends shivers down your spine...a smile that hides no good.
