chapter 12

Hyunjin's pov
I followed after lee minho to the mall, thankfully he didn't notice me...I mean I am good at following people but we are talking about a special agent not some low criminal.
I frowned when I saw him enter a pawnstore, what is he doing there?
Around ten minutes passed before the older left, I immediately went after him trying to keep my distance.
"He is heading back to his car" I whispered running toward mine which was parked not far away from his but in a place he won't notice.

I started the car and followed after Minho when I saw him leave. What was he doing inside a pawn store? Does he need money?
"Of course he does" I whispered...he doesn't work anymore...it is been two years now...I am sure that he is running out of cash.
I immediately took my phone out to text jisung that lee minho was going back home when I saw him take the highways before I made a left turn going back to the mall.
I didn't waste time as soon as I parked my car I ran toward the store I saw minho inside.
"Hello" a middle aged man.
"The man that was here few minutes ago what did he want?" I asked." Dark hair, sharp features..."
"I can't tell you such thing..."
I took my ID it placing it in the counter
"Officer park...was the ring stolen?" He asked making me frown....oh I forgot to mention...my fake ID...one of many I own...our identities are and real jobs are a secret from the outside world.

Felix, jeongin and I have no family left...chan hyung's family think that he is a surgeon in the army...well he is but he also had a special military training to join our team...he even succeeded in becoming our leader...changbin hyung's think that he works for a private firm as a security technician while seungmin's family thinks the younger is a mechanic...they live in Busan so he didn't have to deal a lot with them....he has a shop but he barely open it...jisung's father is working for the force so he didn't have to lie to him but the rest of his family thinks he is a psychiatrist.

For our relationship my mom knew about us before she died...jisung's family knows too but chan, changbin hyung and seungmin's have no idea about us   they think we are friends. Everything about us is complicated but this team was created to work in secret and to do that...to keep our families safe we need to operate like ghosts...
"He gave you a ring?" I said scanning the man.
"Yes,I tooka copie of hjsID, and he signed these papers " the man said showing me the papers alongside a diamond ring.
It looks like it belonged to a woman seeing the design and mostly the size.
"I am taking this alongside...the ID copie and the papers he signed...."
"But I paid one hundred and twenty thousand dollars to him"he cut me off
" i said I am taking it....give me your bank account" I cut him off.

"What..."
"Just do it "I said making him nod, I texted changbin hyung to send the man two hundred thousands dollars as and exchange for the ring and without asking why the older sent it.
" but that's more than..."
"If you don't want to spend the rest of your life behind bars you are going to forget that I came here today...you didn't seem me...or lee minho" I cut him off, I will ask changbin hyung to hack his cameras and delete everything.
"What if he comes back..."
"He won't ", I yelled making him jump " did I make myself clear?" I added making him nod.
"Yes sir" he replied.

I took the box and the papers with me before I left the shop, who did this ring belong to? Thinking about it...what do we really know about lee minho? We were ordered to approach him and work with him to get kang heechul but who is he really? And what makes him so special that they are protecting him and letting him act like he pleases? I mean they are letting the older run free even though he is killing people...well criminals but still he is not an agent anymore, they are hiding something from us.
"You are such an interesting person lee minho" I whispered entering my car.

Changbin's pov
" so he told you to send an insane money from his account to another and you didn't ask him why?" Chan hyung said crossing his arms above his chest.
"Well, you said it...his account...plus he must have done it for a reason he will tell us when he is back" i replied shrugging.
"Just like hyunjin said lee minho came a while ago, jeongin is watching him" jisung said jumping on the couch next to me before he pecked my lips " What were you talking about?" He added.
"Hyunjin asked me to send two hundred thousand dollars to someone called jung kangsoo...he owns a pawnstore" I answered.
