Mohini had eagerly taken on the responsibility of hosting the Sangeet, an event that everyone had been looking forward to for quite some time. The atmosphere was electric, with excitement radiating from the eyes of both the groom's and bride's families. Nishita's friends had gone above and beyond, inviting their entire batch as well as all the children from the coaching center where Nishita worked, ensuring a lively and vibrant celebration. Mohini beamed as she observed all the students, their excitement mirroring her own anticipation for Nishita's grand entrance. The thought of Nishita, radiant in her bridal attire, filled her with joy and added a special thrill to the celebrations.

"Well, here comes the bride!" Mohini announced with a flourish.

Nishita entered the hall and was greeted with the loudest hoot she could have imagined. It was a delightful surprise to see all her students cheering for her. She playfully shouted, "What? You all bunked your class today, huh?"

The students responded with exaggerated groans of disappointment, while Jagdish and his friends chuckled at the interaction.

"You guys seem pretty happy that I'm leaving Pune, aren't you?" she teased. One of her students exclaimed, "Madam, let us talk to your husband! We don't want you to move away!"

Jagdish walked closer to Nishita, taking her hand in his. "Your madam will be with you guys whenever you need her, don't worry," he reassured them to which all of them cheered.

Nishita stared at him and whispered, "You're joking, right?"

"No," Jagdish replied with a smile. "You can continue to travel here every week if that's what makes you happy."

She swallowed and managed a faint smile, "Okay," she murmured, as he smiled wider and led her forward.

"Wifey, breathe."

Jagdish delighted in having Nishita beside him, her laughter mingling loudly as they watched the ridiculous performances by their families. He was floored to discover that his parents, Veer and Yashoda, could dance with such flair, embodying the charm he had always heard about.

The usual Sangeet Bollywood numbers performed by their parents and a few relatives were entertaining enough, but then Nishita's friends pulled off a stunner group dance to 'Apsara Aali.' Jagdish was surprised by Devika's sensuous performance, his eyes flitting between the mesmerizing 'Apsara' on stage and her 'Admirer' in the audience, who watched her with barely concealed desire.

It was clear to Jagdish that despite Chandrakant's protests, his heart still pounded for Devika. Allowing her to rent his flat seemed like a recipe for disaster. Jagdish feared Chandrakant might lose the fragile control he had over his feelings and act impulsively. Whether Devika played along or not, he didn't want his friend to get hurt.

Jagdish wished for Chandrakant to find peace, free from the torments he had faced, but he had no idea if that peace would come with Devika in his life or without her.

"Bhaiyya, please, come on!" Subhadra pleaded, urging Jagdish to join her and Krishna for a dance.

He quickly declined, saying, "I don't dance, Choti. You go and perform, I'll be happy to watch you."

"But Bhaiyya, Bhabhi might want to dance with you," Subhadra insisted, looking at Nishita. "Don't you?"

Nishita shrugged, offering a tight-lipped smile. "It's okay if he's not comfortable," she replied. "Like he said, you go and enjoy."

Jagdish turned to Nishita, asking earnestly, "Do you want to dance with me?"
