He pressed more kisses on my neck as if he couldn't get enough of it. It made me laugh and giggle at the same time. I felt so ticklish when his beard rubbed all over my skin. I could feel everyone's eyes on us. He was showing his affection in front of everyone. My face flushed red, and I became shy. I turn like that every time he does it. I want to run out of his hold, but he holds me firmly against his chest.
“Erick, everyone is watching us,” I said shyly, feeling teasing eyes on us. I bit on my lower lip.
“Let them watch. You are mine, and I don't care about anything else in this world, he said and pressed more kisses on my neck and jaw. I bit more hard on my lower body, stopping the smile that threatened to form on my lips. I hugged him more tightly as if my life depended on him. It does. We broke the hug when everyone started to come to congratulate us.
“Oh my god. I'm so happy for you guys, Isabella said with a wide grin on her face. She hugged both of us at the same time, and I hugged her back with the same love.
“All credits to make this evening so beautiful and memorable go to the one and only Isabella,” Erick said with a big smile on his lips, and then he kissed her on the head.
“Oh, don't mention it. It's your and Grace's love that made this evening magical and memorable, she said with that big smile still on her lips.
“Thank you so much,” I said while hugging her tightly. She hugged me back while we swung our bodies slightly. She has always been our cheerleader. Xanthus and Sage walked to us with a big grin on their faces. They took turns and then hugged us.
“So happy for you, man. You deserve it, Xanthus said while patting his back in a brotherly manner. Erick hugged him with the same passion.
“I'm so happy for you,” Sage said while hugging me tightly, and a few tears formed in my eyes. Happy tears. Our journey was not easy and still won't be. Maybe more big battles are waiting for us, but we are going to keep standing with each other and fight till the end.
“Sage helped me a lot with decoration,” Isabella told me with a grin on her lips.
“Thank you.” I hugged her more tightly. It was my family's efforts that had made this evening successful. Everyone played their small part in this big surprise.
“I just help a little,” Sage said with a genuine look on her face.
“Her little help means she helps in arranging hundreds of red roses for the decorations with so little time on our hands,” Isabella said, and my eyes widened in disbelief. It's so hard to arrange a hundred roses at this hour of the day.
“How did you manage to do that?” I asked her with an amazed look still in my eyes.
“Last month our hotel arranged a wedding even though I knew the vendor who supplied the flowers. I requested it, and he arranged it, she told us and was amazed even more. She is now a known name in the hotel industry, not because of Xanthus but for her talent and skills. She has now grown so much as a woman, and whenever I look at her, I feel proud. Grandma, Xanthus's mother and father congratulated us. I was surprised when Danial came to congratulate us.
“I will go and help Mom,” Isabella stepped away saying that when he walked towards us, and I could feel the bitterness in them.
“Congratulations to both of you,” he said, and then hugged us.
“I need to congratulate you too,” Erick said with a grin on his face. My brows furrowed in question when he said that.
“Why?” I asked curiously while looking at both of them.
“He is getting engaged to CN Group's eldest daughter,” Erick told me, and my eyes widened like a sausage.
“What?” I gasped loudly while looking at him. I could feel everyone looking at me, but I didn't care. I hope it's not true. Is it the reason behind Isabella's unhappy face? How can he do this to her? He took a deep breath before answering me.
“It's arranged by my family,” he said with a smile on his face, which didn't reach his eyes. My eyes narrowed in his way when he said that. Daneil is not a person who will do what his family wants, so what's his reason behind accepting this proposal? My eyes moved to Isabella, who was helping her mother. Danail followed my gaze and then exhaled deeply.
“Other people also want to meet you.” Danial excused himself before I could question him. Not only him but even my friends were also present there, whom I didn't notice before. Aria and Evelyn gush to me with big smiles on their faces. Lilly and Sabrina were also present, and I was happy to not see my dad here. Only the people who love me and my baby were here. I had a hearty chat with all of them. Aria and Evelyn were so excited after knowing I was pregnant with twins.
“Now we don't need to fight; we will get one each,” Aria said excitedly, making us chuckle.
“Erick, just try to stay away from Grace as much as possible till she gives birth,” Evelyn said with a serious look on her face. I knew she was about to say something. I hid my smile behind the glass of juice.
“Why?” Erick asked while holding me firmly against his chest.
“I don't want your grumpiness rubbed on the babies. I want them to be like Grace more, she said with a teasing tone, and Erick narrowed his eyes in her way.
“They will be like me,” he said possessively, and the very next moment he grabbed my cheeks and turned my face to him. He kissed me in front of her.
“Shameless like always,” Evelyn scoffed at him while rolling her eyes. It made everyone chuckle. Their band has a long history, and it's been going on for decades. I loved it so much.
