The look of shock and pain in Siobhan's face made Marjorie's heart break. "Siobhan, we're not friends we're family. I should have screamed it from the rooftops, but I was a fool, and I was being insecure."

The look on Bon and Viv's face was somewhere between relief and amusement.

"I am overjoyed for you two and Jamey. I know he is just going to love being a big brother. I was just worried about Reece and insecure that he would want to or feel the need to be more involved. It was stupid really." Her face had turned red with embarrassment, but she still faced them. She knew she had to. Especially Siobhan for the anxiety she had just caused her.

Vivian was the first to speak. "We gave him the option to be more involved. We both felt secure enough with him to offer that. He didn't want that. He assured us he only wanted what he has with Jamey. To be an uncle, Marjorie. That was all. He said his children with you were his dream, and he or she should be ours."

Marjorie's breath caught. "He said our children were his dream?"

This time Siobhan spoke. "He did. He can't see his life without you or them. He went on and on about how amazing you are. How proud he is to be married to you, and how proud he is of you as a mother. That man could not be more in love with you and the family the two of you have created if he tried."

Marjorie knew what they were saying was true, but it still took time to sink in that he was hers. This man. This walking talking green flag was hers. And more importantly she was his. He was her place to belong. Her home.

Just then he walked into the lounge. "Gorgeous, lunch is...I am sorry I didn't know we had company. I have made plenty. Are you guys hungry?"

Viv and Siobhan glanced at one another and both shook their heads. "We should really be going."

Marjorie wasn't going to let them run off. "Nonsense. Besides, it will give you time to tell us how things went this morning." It took a little more urging, but they stayed for lunch and filled them in on their morning. Both Marjorie and Reece talked animatedly about having a new niece or nephew and Reece hoped he or she would share his and Jamey's love of space.

By the end of the lunch Siobhan and Marjorie were back to chatting like they had been for the last year, and Viv and Reece escaped to the kitchen.

"It was her reaction, right? That is why you came?" He knew it probably bothered Siobhan. She had seen her go crazy over far less. Viv just nodded.

"I think they have sorted it now." She had actually been really proud of Siobhan. She knew how hard it was for her to open up and be that vulnerable. She had never missed a day of her therapy, and it had truly shown today. "I know I have said it before, but thanks, Reece, I am not sure we would have been able to do this with anyone else. You made her feel so at ease that day. Even I was at a loss, and you calmed her right down."

He didn't really know what to say so he just smiled as he washed up and cleared away the mess from lunch. Just as he finished, Siobhan popped her head in. "Are you ready, beautiful? I was thinking a little nap before we pick up Jamey." The raised eyebrow told her all she needed to know, and they said their goodbyes.

Reece and Marjorie followed them to the door. Her tucked under his arm. "Looks like 2027 is gonna be another 2025." He let it slip before he realized the implication.

"How do you mean?" He was caught up in it now. He thought about his shins and his beloved car and then just threw caution to the wind.

He looked down and smiled. "Well, no one is supposed to know, but there are four babies coming this year. Ours, yours, Carly and Eric's, and Aut's"

Marjorie started to hyperventilate. She screamed. She shrieked. "Autumn is having another baby!?! Autumn is having another baby!!!"

Siobhan laughed so hard her face was turning red. "There she is. There is the Marjorie we know. Now let's go Viv, she is already starting to annoy me."
