A/N : How did I get to 100 imagines? That's actually insane!
100 - Fight with siblings
You wake up hearing a lot of knocking on your door. You don't really want to see who it is since it's the middle of the night. But it doesn't seem like whoever it is, is going away anytime soon. So you get out of bed and go downstairs to see who is at the door.
You decide to look out the window to make sure it's not someone that's about to rob you or something. And you see it's your boyfriend, Riker.
You open the door.
"It's the middle of the night. What are you doing here?" You ask, grabbing his arm and pulling him inside.
You close and lock the door and then look at Riker, waiting for an answer.
"What happened?" You ask again.
You see tears forming in his eyes. He's staring at the floor, avoiding your eyes.
"Riker, whatever it is, I'll help you. Just tell me."
You pull him into a hug when he doesn't say anything else. His body is slightly trembling.
"Let's go upstairs," you say, taking his hand and leading him up to your bedroom.
You lift the covers and Riker gets in your bed beside you.
"Can you give me a hint about what's wrong?" You ask.
He lays his head on your shoulder, crying harder. You wrap your arms around him, pulling him closer to you. He turns on his side, facing you, and clings onto you.
"Try to breathe, Rik. I know you're upset. But whatever it is, it's going to be ok."
You wipe the tears off his cheeks. His eyes are shut tightly and his whole face is pink from crying.
"Rik, take some deep breaths. Can you please tell me what's wrong?"
"I got in a fight," he whispered.
"Like... a physical fight?" You ask, confused.
"No. With my siblings."
"Oh... You guys never get in serious fights though."
Riker turns his face into your shoulder, crying harder.
"Riker, it's your siblings. Whatever happened, it doesn't matter. They're family. I'm sure you'll work it out."
You sigh, still feeling Riker's body tremble. You take out your phone and call Rydel.
"Hello?"
"Rydel, what happened tonight? Why did your brother show up at my house in the middle of the night? And why can't he stop crying?"
Riker reaches up and tries to push your phone away from you.
"Stop," you say, grabbing his arm with your other hand.
"We just had... a really intense band meeting. Which ended up turning into a fight between Riker, Ross, and Rocky."
"Why?"
"We were discussing songs and Riker wanted to play some of our older ones. And Rocky didn't want to because he doesn't like them. And Ross agreed and said they aren't our best work. But Riker wrote a lot of our older songs, so I just think he feels bad that they don't want to play them. And it turned into a whole thing about how Riker basically got us to where we are today and how they don't appreciate it. And he should have a say in what we play because he's the oldest and he did a lot of the work in the beginning. And sometimes it just doesn't seem like Rocky and Ross appreciate that."
"Ok..."
"So Riker's taking it hard?"
"Yeah."
"I'm glad he came to you though. I think they all just need some time apart. They'll get over it. You know how close everyone is."
"Yeah, I know. But Riker's just taking it really hard."
"It's late. He's tired. He just needs some sleep."
"Ok. But you're not mad at him?"
"No. I don't get involved in their fights."
"Ok. Thanks. Night, Rydel."
"Goodnight."
You hang up. Riker is slightly calmer now. You look down at him and he looks up at you.
"It'll be fine. It was just a stupid fight," you say, kissing his forehead.
"What if it's not?"
"It always is. I don't know anyone who is closer with their siblings than you are."
"I just hate fighting with them."
"I know. But that's because you love them so much. And that's how I know you guys won't stay mad at each other. Look, it's late. You were probably all tired. I'm sure everything will be much better once you all get some sleep."
You wipe the tears off of Riker's cheeks again. He sighs and closes his eyes, clearly exhausted. But he's finally calm and not crying anymore.
"Do you think you can try to get some sleep?" You ask.
"Yeah."
You pull the covers up higher over both of you. Riker snuggles down under them and wraps both of his arms tightly around you.
"What if everything still isn't ok tomorrow?" He asks.
"Then I'll help you fix it or get through it or whatever needs to be done, ok? You won't be in a fight with them forever. I know it's scary and upsetting for you, but you guys are too close to let a fight get between you."
"You really think so?"
"Riker, you spend basically every day with them. You all love each other. I know it'll be ok. And I know you do too."
Riker nods.
"Try to get some sleep. We'll figure it out tomorrow. Together."
"Ok... Thanks."
"Goodnight, Rik."
"Night."
