The drop from the bridge to the river was longer than they would've liked, about ten feet. The bridge was very unstable and had nothing to hold on to. Eira started to really panic, the soldiers were chasing after them and she really didn't think they could make it across the bridge. she was now holding onto loki entire arm rather than just his hand, he could tell how flustered she was "it's okay, once we get across I can destroy it with my telekinesis, and the soldiers won't be able to get across, we'll be fine" he said in an attempt to reassure her. They were walking very slowly, they didn't want to move to fast because it was very narrow. "Can we please hurry" she asked looking at the river underneath "Okay, we can go a little faster" loki replied as he started to walk a little more quickly "don't worry, it's much more stable than it seams, we'll be fine" he told her. She started to notice that with every step, Ice was growing at her feet, as she became more afraid the ice started to get ahead of them, now she was afraid they would both slip and fall. Loki started to notice too and wanted to take her mind off her fear "you're eyes are very beautiful" he said randomly "thank you" she said with less fear in her voice. "I love the silver around you pupils, it's just so beautiful. Well, all of you is beautiful, but I just thought your eyes were interesting" she smiled at his complement. "Thank you, no ones ever told me that before" she said "well than everyone is blind" he returned. For a moment she was no longer afraid. But then she saw that the soldiers were on the bridge and all her fear came back, the ice spread across the whole bridge in front of them, they couldn't walk on or they'd slip. Loki saw the soldiers, and the ice, he knew there was only one thing to do. "Right, okay, change of plans" he turned to look at her "I'm so sorry" he said, and with that, he pushed her off the edge of the bridge
