Eira started to climb over the rail of the balcony, screaming and crying for Loki. Thor grabbed her around her waist and pulled her down, she started struggling to get out of his grip.
"Thor let go of me!" Me screamed, he jerked her around and forced her to look into his eyes.
"Eira think about what you're doing! I want Loki back too, but trying to chase an enemy ship, that could be anywhere, is foolish. Calm your mind and try to think!" He told her, his voice was harsh and loud, and he was gripping her shoulders tightly.
"How can I be calm when they just took my husband?!" Tears started to fill her eyes "he is all I have and I am not about to let them take him from me!" She shouted, Thor's expression became more compassionate.
"I know, but we have to think this through, we first need I find him" he told her, his grip on her shoulders loosening "and I promise to get Loki back to you" he said bringing her into a gentle hug. She normally felt intimated next to Thor, he was so tall and strong that she felt like he would break her in half, but right now she felt comforted and safe.
They both left to see what was going on where the palace was attacked, the worriers had taken all the remaining eldjötnar into custody by order of the king. "Father" Thor called walking over to Odin "they've taken Loki, we need to find out where they took him and get him back" he said bluntly.
"There are things to be taken care of before that" Odin said, anger took over Thor's face .
"This is Loki we're talking about!" He shouted "they have Loki and you want to take care if other things first?!" He shouted angrily.
"I want Loki back as much as you do, but look around you, many of our soldiers are wounded, hiemdall can't tell us where they took Loki because he's almost dead. How do you expect to save Loki if we have no army and the enemy does?" Odin asked, Thor started to see that he was right.
"We take it one step at a time, but saving Loki is still the most important thing" Eira said to both Odin and Thor .
"You speak wise words, lady Eira" Odin nodded to her.

"Wake up" someone barked at Loki while kicking him in the stomach "You know, if you're going to kick someone, saying 'wake up' isn't really necessary" he said in his usual sarcastic tone while trying to stand, he tried to use magic, to take down the soldier, then realized the band around his neck was counteracting his tricks. The eldjötnar grabbed his arm and forced him to stand. Five more soldiers came, they tied a cloth around Loki's eyes and shackled his hands behind his back. They led him down some stairs, and a few long halls. He couldn't see, but he could tell the the ground was made of stone. They shoved him into a dark dungeon, and he heard the door shut. They took the blindfold off his eyes. He could now see, it was dark but he could see each soldier. He tried to fight them, but they all fought him back, he tried to fight them off but was outnumbered, and was soon exhausted, he fell to the floor, but they didn't stop beating him, they were kicking his chest and stomach, they started pounding his face, causing his vision to go blurry. He finally heard a voice command them to stop."I think you've all had enough fun for one day" it said, it was a woman's voice. The soldiers forced Loki to his feet, and chained his hands above his head, and his feel to the ground. The woman walked over to him and stood in from of him. She was tall, with black hair and burnt-orange colored eyes.

"You know, when I heard Eira married the prince, I just assumed it was Thor. I really don't see why she, or anyone, would take you when he was there. But then, she never was very smart." She mocked, he looked her in the eye.
"Why am I here?" he muttered.
"Because hurting you, maybe even killing you, will destroy her" she told him "it's her fault you're here, and if you die it will destroy her. You might say you would each be the cause of each others undoing" she said with a wicked smile, he tried to pull out of the chains, but it was of no use.
"How do you know about that?!" He barked at her. She came closer to him, so close they were almost touching.
"Because I'm the one who wrote it" she whispered into his ear. She started to leave the dungeon.
"Don't worry, you won't be alone for too long, those men will be back first thing in the morning to keep you company" she said with a chilling smile as she left the room.
