"Are you sure it's him?" Eira asked, she couldn't believe he had escaped, they locked him up and it had been so long that she'd almost forgotten about him, and she thought they must've been mistaken. "Eira, it's him" loki said calmly, holding onto her soldiers. She sighed a bit and clenched her jaw, trying to contain her anger.
"Are you alright?" Loki said not knowing if she was okay.
"No. I'm mad, I am getting really sick of constantly having to worry about wether or not I'm going to be dead by the end of the day! Why can't-" she didn't finish her thought, she sighed to relax herself, but still felt burning anger inside. "Eira, we're doing everything we can to find him, and we'll do everything possible to protect you" Thor told her, she smirked slightly. She knew they were going to, loki never stopped telling her how much he loved her and would protect her, but for some reason when Thor joined in she felt a little better, maybe because now she knew they were getting more people involved and it wasn't just her and loki. "I want to help find him" she said as she sat up more. Loki nodded.
"Okay, we could use your help, you spoke to him once and you know your sister, maybe you could help figure out what he's doing" he told her. "Are you feeling well enough to get up?" He asked, she nodded and slid out of bed, loki and Thor both left so she could get dressed, and in a minute she was ready. She walked out of the room and they were both waiting for her. They walked a few steps in the direction of the meeting room before Eira stopped them.
"Wait, hold on" she said, they turned to look at her.
"Thor, can I talk to you for a minute?" She asked, he looked a little confused. "Alone" she added, which only added to the confusion. "I'll meet you guys there then" loki said as he walked off. He wasn't worried about anything, he didn't think there was anything to worry about, but he was a little curious as to why she would want to talk to Thor without him.
He came to the meeting room, the warriors three and lady Sif were already there waiting.
"Is your brother coming?" Volstag asked. Loki nodded.
"Yes, he's talking to Eira now though, they should be here any minute" he told them, in a few minutes they came in and sat down. "So, gollum is after you again?" Fandral asked as Eira sat down
"Not again. Still" Eira corrected.
"What do you mean?" Thor asked.
"He never stopped, he's not after me again, he's still after me. He's been trying to get to me ever since he failed the first time, the soldiers who were in on the break must've been planing this for a Long time and just couldn't get into asgard before now. And I don't think he's only after me" she said.
"Who else do you think he'd be after?" Sif asked.
"Loki. He works for Embrey, she had him sent to kill me, but then when that don't work, she changed her plan and kidnapped loki, it's possible he's not even after me anymore and is just looking for loki. His only purpose is to please her by hurting me, and the last thing she did against me was torturing loki" she told them, she wasn't sure about anything, he just wanted to put all her cards on the table.
"There is one sure way to know" loki said, a little under his breath.
"No" Thor said simply.
"If we talk to her she can tell us what he's doing" loki continued.
"She won't know, she's been locked up. And she can't use magic to communicate with him because we put that band on her" Thor told him. "Besides, you can't trust a word she says. Even if she does know what he's doing she won't tell us" Eira added. They spoke for a while longer about what he might be doing, and where to look for him. they just came to the conclusion that there was no way to know, and every one would have to be careful.
"But we don't just assume that he's gone, if months go by and we don't get anything from him we don't let out guards down, we all stay cautious until he's found and executed" loki said strongly. Of course they all agreed. They all got up to leave, but loki stopped Thor before he left.
"What's wrong?" Thor asked, loki looked a little upset.
"Why don't you tell me. What did Eira want?" He asked, a hint of anger. There was a small pause.
"Nothing, it's not important" Thor replied.
"You're a terrible liar" loki said back.
"She told me not to tell you" Thor said back.
"Why?" Loki asked.
"She's afraid" he told him.
"Of what?" Loki asked, not really believing him.
"You" he replied, loki looked a little hurt.
"Why is she afraid if me?" He asked, he'd never done anything to hurt her.
"I can't tell you right now, but she'll tell you later" Thor told him. "Thor, I trust you, and I don't think that there's anything going on with you and Eira. but know that if there is something going on, I will make you regret it" loki told him, Thor saw the look in loki that he hadn't seen in a long time. he was seeing the hard, cold, almost dark side of him.
"There's nothing between Eira and I, I would never do that to you. Or her" Thor told him. "Good, then we have nothing to worry about" loki said, the darkness in his face and tone vanishing. They left the room, going to tell all the soldiers who they were looking for.
