"Eira get down!" Loki shouted knocking her out of the way of a flaming arrow that had been shot at her. They were fighting in a battle on muspelhiem. after a spy had been sent to steel the power source for the destroyer, Odin instructed Thor to take Loki, Eira, Sif, and the worriers three, to find some answers, they discovered that a small army of the eldjötnar (fire giants(people of muspelhiem)) was planing to attack asgard, and they were sent to put an end to the army before they had a chance to attack. "Are you alright?"he asked after knocking her down. She nodded as she picked up her bow and quiver of arrows that she had become exceptionally good at using. "Hold on darling, we almost have them" he told her realizing how exhausted she was from fighting. Thankfully it was a small army, they were on there way to victory, but their numbers were getting smaller too, they hadn't brought very many soldiers for assistance. Finally after they had fought for a while longer, they had more soldiers than the eldjötnar, Thor saw an opportunity to end the battle
"Surrender now and your lives will be spared!" He shouted above the fighting. One of the soldiers laughed "You think we'll surrender to you?" He laughed.
"Only If you want to live" loki said in his usual sassy tone. "Cause this army is pathetic" he said in the same tone. Just then the fighting slowed down, most of the solders stopped fighting and was looking in Thor's direction, Thor assumed they were taking his offer, but he saw Eira and Sif looking behind him, he turned around and saw a flaming creature. All the fighting soldiers were now standing still as the creature came closer, it was a snake looking creature, it had wings and was the size of a dragon, it's body was on fire, but it was completely unaffected by the flames, it was sliding on the ground, his front half standing upright, coming closer to the fight.
"Nice job, loki" Fandral said sarcastically, thinking of how loki was the one who was taunting them
"Well if we can kill it then they'll surrender" he said defensively.

And if we cant then-" he was cut off "You guys pick the worst times to start chatting!" Eira shouted at them both.
"Eira" Thor called her over to him. "Do you think you could give me a hand with this thing?" He asked her, she knew what he meant "It would be an absolute pleasure" she said "but that thing is huge" she added realizing it's size
"Just hit it with beams of ice to try to put out the fire, I'll take care of the rest" he told her. The creature spat a beam of fire and hit Eira in the arm, she fell to the ground, loki started coming over to her
"I'm fine! I'm okay!" She said standing back up, it started spitting fire at the others, they had to move fast, Eira quickly started attacking it with with ice, it put out the fire that was on it's body, but that only seemed to enrage it. It started hissing and whipping down the end of it's tail, trying to kill their soldiers. Thor threw mjölnir at the snakes head, which of course weakened it and caused it to fall to the ground
"Well at least it's at our level now" Fandral said
"But it's still breathing fire" Sif pointed out "Well this is getting boring" loki said dryly, "hey Thor, remember Jotunhiem?" He said and walked right over to the snake, it hissed at him loudly, threatening him with it's wings. "Listen, why don't you just calm down a bit, stop breathing your fire, and we can all work this out" he said as calmly and sarcastically as if he was talking to a civilized person "Is he insane?" Eira said, shocked by lokis actions "No, he's a genius" Thor said smiling. The snake opened his mouth to spit fire at loki, and right before he had the chance, Thor flew inside it's mouth with mjölnir and ripped the creature open, destroying him from the inside. "Of course I Remember jotunhiem" Thor said walking back to loki and the rest if the soldiers. The army of eldjötnar dropped their weapons in surrender.
"Thank you for your cooperation" loki said to the kneeling soldiers as they took the leaders into custody.
Thor called for Heimdall and a beam of light shot down and brought all of them back to asgard. "Eira" loki said coming to her "didn't you say your sister was from muspelhiem?" He asked
"Please don't talk about my sister" she said coldly, continuing to walk along the bridge "Well do you think she was the one leading the attack?" He asked "What part of 'don't talk about my sister' do you not understand?" She was getting irritated "Well if she tried to attack asgard then-" he was cut off
"It wasn't her, okay, it wasn't" she said in a very matter-of-fact tone "How do you know?" He asked her, he didn't want to just brush past something like this "Loki, please stop" she said, tears now forming in her eyes, loki walked over to her and gently griped her arm, turning her to face him "Eira, please talk to me" he said "how can you be sure?" He asked. She started to breath harder "I know it wasn't her because Shes not the kind of person who will raise an army. She won't start an attack, she doesn't need to. Shes the kind of person who will take you captive and you never even knew she existed, she'll kill you before you have a chance to scream. She's clever, and smart, and quick, she doesn't need an army, she can make everyone else kill each other by planting hate in peoples minds. And if she ever did have to raise an army, She would never let anyone find out about it" she told him. He could see that she knew her sister all to well, and that she had left scars in Eira's life.
"Thank you" he said to her, she nodded "Let me take a look at your arm" he said noticing the burn left from the snake. He took her inside and was wrapping her arm in bandages.
"I'm sorry I snapped at you back there" she said when he finished "there's a lot of painful history about me and her that you don't know about yet" she told him "Well I hope one day you'll be able to tell me" he said "but I'll wait patiently" he added smiling "Thank you" she said with a half sad smile.
