Loki slammed the door to his room, he was walked around for a bit trying to control his anger and miserably failing, he kept thinking about what the man said: "I can't think of one person who wouldn't want to kill her" "that creatures a monster" " she deserves to die"
It made him more and more angry the more he thought about it. He stormed out of his chambers and back down to the dungeons. He came back to the cell with the man who threw the knife, and went into the cell.
"I'm done trying to be civil, you're going to answer my questions here and now or I'll make you sorry" he told him harshly and firmly "You were trying to be civil before?" The man mocked. "Who do you work for?" Loki demanded. Just then the guards walked in, they always came around to make sure everything was in order. Loki turned to them "Get out! Don't come back In Here until I've left!" He shouted at them, and they quickly left. Loki turned back to the man and drew a knife "Who do you work for?!" He shouted at him, the man didn't answer, a mocking smirk spread across His face. Loki slashed him across his face with the knife.
"Tell me who you work for?!" He shouted at him again. The man still didn't answer, he only laughed. "You are useless. No one will miss you" Loki said as he grabbed his neck and started choking him again
"I told you I would end you painfully, and I don't intend to break that promise" Loki let go of his neck and the man fell to the ground, Loki pulled him back up to his feet and smashed his throat with his fist
"Don't count on being able to scream for help" he snapped. He was going to stab him in the stomach, he drew the knife back and was about to stab him when someone grabbed his arm, it was Thor, the guards had gone and told him that loki was in the prison.
"Thor, let go of me!" He shouted trying to pull his arm out of his brothers grip. "Loki are you insane?!" Thor shouted at him, pushing him against the wall of the cell. "This won't accomplish anything!"

He shouted grabbing Loki by the shoulders and shaking him, Loki stopped fighting, he knew Thor was right.
"Go on, listen to your big brother" the man said mockingly at Loki. Loki started to go at him again only to be stopped by Thor.
"Loki" he said pulling him back. "Just walk away" he told him leading him out the door. Loki walked on ahead of Thor
"Loki" Thor called after him, but he just kept walking
"Loki come on, talk to me" he caught up to him and put his hand on his shoulder. Loki stopped walking.
"What was all that about? Was it because he hurt Eira?" Thor asked. Loki sighed "That, and the things he said about her. Thor, he called her a monster, he said someone hired him to kill her, I wanted to-" he was cut off by Thor "Wait, when did he say all this?" Loki realized he slipped up "I went in there earlier today to question him" he said with a look of guilt.
"You know loki, sometimes you can be the smartest person I've ever met, but then other times you can be so stupid! What were you thinking? You can't just go talk to prisoners whenever you feel like it" he told him
"I know, I know, I just needed answers, and then he said those things about her, and I got mad and- ugh it's a mess" loki said realizing how foolish he'd been "Well thankfully for you the guards told me where you were. Can you keep calm from now on?" He asked.
Loki only nodded, he was still mad, but he knew he had to keep calm or things would get even worse. "Good. Go talk to Eira, that always seems to make you feel better. Loki smiled a little and started to head toward Eira's chambers.
"Thor" he called turning around and walking back
"Yes?" He answered "I need to talk to someone about something and father is always busy these days, can I talk to you?" He asked. Thor was almost concerned, loki never asked him to 'talk' unless it was really serious "Yes. Yes, of course" he answered and the two of them found a place to talk
