Eira fell asleep to the sound of Loki's reading. And He quietly left the room. He went to take a took at Eira's armor, it didn't make any sense that a small knife could be able to pierce through two layers of metal. He picked up the mail tunic and looked at the hole that was there from the knife. He found something that answered one question, but gave him more; the armor hadn't been cut through, it was melted.
He decided he would just go talk to the man who did it. He went to the dungeons and found the cell with the man.
"I have a few questions for you. Number one: why did you try to kill that young lady" loki asked standing outside the cell.
"What makes you think I'll answer to you?" He said back "Because I'm different from everyone else here. I'm known to break rules, I'm also known to be really good at hiding it when I do. You know what else I'm good at? Making things disappear. Like... Oh I don't know.... I dead body" loki replied without breaking his stare "so ill ask you again; why did you try to kill that young lady?" The man still held his ground, he wasn't going to answer
"You won't kill me, you can't, you're too good" he said
"You don't know me very well" loki said dryly "your threats don't scare me" the man said back. loki started laughing "Well they should. You probably don't know this; but I'm the one who went to Midgard and killed almost a hundred people in less than three days" the man now started to have a look of fear "Do I need to repeat the question?" Loki asked smirking "I was given orders by my leader" the man finally answered "And why does your leader want her dead?" Loki asked him "She didn't tell me, I didn't ask" loki was still wondering about the knife melting the armor "How did this knife melt her armor?" He asked, holding up the knife.
"The one from whom I take orders gave it to me." he answered back. "Why does your leader want to kill her?" Loki asked "Who doesn't?! That creature is a monster and I can't think of one person who wouldn't want to kill her! She deserves to die!" He hissed.Loki was furious at the man's comment about Eira, he appeared behind the man inside the cell and grabbed his neck tightly and started choking him.
"She is the most wonderful person I've ever met, she's more powerful than anything a tiny mind like yours could even imagine. She also happens to be the woman I love, so of you even think about talking like that about her again, know that I will end you, slowly, and painfully!" He shouted at him. Loki was choking him, gripping his neck tighter as he spoke. He let go of the mans neck, letting him fall to the ground, he stepped over him and left the cell. Loki stormed back up the stairs and into the palace. "Is everything alright?" He heard someone ask, it was Sif
"I going to kill him" he said as he brushed past her.
"Loki" she called after him, walking up to him.
"What did he say?" She asked "Leave me alone, sif" he snapped at her. She grabbed his arm and shoved him against the wall, and put her sword to his neck so he couldn't turn and leave. "I don't think you've got your mind in order, you should take a minute to think, before you do something you regret" she said firmly. She walked away leaving him there alone, and he went back to his chambers to clear his head, he was more angry than he'd been in a long time, and sif was right, he would regret taking action based on anger, he always did.
