Eira woke up the next morning, it was later than she normally woke, in fact, it was closer to midday than morning. She looked across the room and saw a turquoise gown on a dress form, it was fitted around the waist, but was very light and flowing from that point down. There was also a necklace on her vanity table with a note under it; "Good morning love, I trust you slept well. put on this necklace and gown, and let me say good morning to the most beautiful woman in all the nine realms." ~ Loki.
She smiled at his note, and put on the gown.
"Well at least he has taste" she said to herself after putting the gown and necklace on and looking at herself in the mirror. She left her room and walked around for a bit, almost every door or hallway was locked or shielded by magic. "What is he doing?" She thought to herself. She found loki.
"Good morning" she said smiling "or should I say afternoon?" She said realizing how late it was. He looked at her for a moment "Good morning darling" he said hugging her "I was right" he said "About what?" She asked "You are the most beautiful woman in the nine realms" he said stroking her face. Her cheeks turned red at him compliment.
"Loki, what's going on? And did you do something to make me sleep later?" She asked "Oh, right, yes I did. But everyone is waiting for you, I don't have time to explain" he said taking her hand and leading her to a doorway. "What is he doing? What did I get myself into?" She was thinking to herself. He opened the door and they entered a room full of people, they had to walk down stairs to get to the crowd, but They all clapped and cheered when she came in, she felt like the queen. "And now you don't have to pretend" he whispered in her ear.
She was confused for a moment, Then she remembered telling loki about how when she was young she would pretend she was the queen and people would clap and cheer for her, she wanted to smack herself in the face for telling him all these things about herself, but also thought it was so sweet that he remembered.

They stopped half way down the stairs, her hand in his, he and got everyone's attention.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this woman is very special to me, and I know that once you get to know her, you will understand why. she's the most wonderful person I've ever met, and I love her more than anything else" as he said this she felt a lump in her throat, she was trying to hold back tears. No one had ever said those kinds of things to her before. For the rest of the day loki was introducing her to new people, she was finding that she actually liked showing off her ice powers, people seemed to like it and she felt more comfortable with it. As it got later, music started to play and people started to dance, it seemed so perfect. As they were dancing, Eira could tell something was wrong with loki
"Hey, are you okay?" She asked putting her hand on his face.
"Yes" he said with a fake smile, then he saw Thor trying to get his attention, Thor looked like he was trying to ask him something, but he couldn't tell, then He started to feel sick, he needed to get away.
"Eira, will you excuse me for a moment, there's something I need to take care of" he asked "Yes, of course, is everything alright?" She asked concerned "Yes, I just need to take care of something" he quickly broke away from her and ran out of the room. He saw Thor coming after him. "What is going on? I thought you were going to do it " He said "I got nervous, I just need a minute, I'll be fine" loki said trying to breath deeply "Maybe you should wait" Thor suggested "No! No, I can do it, I just panicked, but I'm fine now" He said, his voice nervous and shaky. "Loki, you look like you're going to pass out" Thor told him, he was right, loki was clearly having difficulties. But He started to breath normally now"I'm fine" he said standing up strait. Thor nodded and they both walked back to the main room, loki found Eira.
"Eira, come here" he said holding out his hand for her to take. She took it and they walked back up the stairs so that everyone could see them. Loki got everyone attention again "I'm sorry to interrupt, but I need to say a few things to lady Eira." He turned to her and took her hands "Eira, like I said before, you are the most wonderful person I've ever met. But not just because you're a good woman, but because you make me want to be a better man. You're beautiful, but you make others feel beautiful. You have a kind, forgiving heart, even when others are unkind, and unforgiving towards you. You were able to bring light back into my very dark life. You always think of others above yourself" he handed her a small box, she opened it and saw a diamond ring, he knelt down in front of her"So for these reason and thousands more; I kneel before you, and ask that you would make me the happiest, most privileged man in the realms, and let me call you my wife" everyone in the room screamed and cheered and applauded. Eira's heart skipped a beat, tears were streaming down her face, she couldn't find her words, all she could do was nod her head, and was finally able to get out "yes" through her tears of joy
