One morning when Eira woke up she was alone, she thought it was funny that she got used to loki being there with her in the mornings after only being married for a few days. She got out of bed and was about I get ready to do some training, she had gotten exceptionally skilled using a bow, but that wasn't always practical, she wants to learn more skills. As she was changing her clothes she saw the scar on her side, she then remembered when she was stabbed, it still didn't make sense, but it had been put on the back burner for a while. She sat there in thought for a moment, she ten decided not to go train, she put on a tunic made out of tiny black metal scales, it came past her hips and continued down her leg on one side at an angel, the armor completely covered her arms, chest, and even went up her neck a bit, it was fitted around her waists so that it did hinder her when she was fighting, it also had a hood made of the same scale armor pieces to hide her face. She put on her letter pants, boots, and took one of Loki's small knives. She snuck out of her room making sure no one saw her, she was headed for the dungeons. She got there and came to the cell with the man who threw the knife, she made sure he was chained to the wall before she entered the cell. She was all in black, trying to seem more intimidating and serious, people always told her that they didn't take her seriously because of her blond hair and soft face. "Give me you name" she spat at the man in the cell, he was curled up in the corner, mumbling something over and over and over to himself, in a high pitch voice that made her skin crawl "And why should a give you my name? You won't even show me your face" he asked in the same high voice, he sounds as though he was going mad. She reluctantly took off the hood, she stood in a determined manner, her feet shoulder length apart, her hands my her sides, her back and neck strait. And her hair was in a side braid coming over her right shoulder.
"Oh, it's lady Eira" he said in the same insane sounding voice. "How do you know my name?" She demanded.
How could I not know your name? You just married the future king" he said. She was getting tired of the pointless chatter, she came there for answers.
"Why did you want to kill me?" She asked him sternly. He didn't even seem like he was listening.
"You, you're so much prettier than I imagined" he said standing up and coming close to her, he was chained up, so she knew he couldn't hurt her.
"You've gone insane" she said turning to leave, she knew she wasn't getting anywhere with him.
"Do you remember Embrey?" He asked her as she started to leave. Her breathing became harder, a look of horror took over her face.
"How do you know about that?" She asked turning back around to face him. "I thought that would strike your interest" he said in a mocking voice.
"You tell me how you know!" She shouted at him coming close to his face. "First, you let me go free. Then I'll tell you what you want to know" he said as if he had any control "This isn't a game, you tel-" she was cut of by him reaching out and grabbing her neck, not choking her, he was just holding her neck.
"If course this is a game! It's just like a game of chess! you're the queen, and the other queen wants to take you out, so she sends all her little pawns out to do her dirty work!" he growled in the same skin crawling voice. She slashed across his arm causing him to let her go
"Next time I cut it off!" She shouted and walked out of the cell. From inside the cell he shouted:
"They're coming for you! No matter where you hide they will get you!" She stared to run, her fear was creeping in.
"Embrey wants you dead and I'll see that it happens!" She could hear him scream that one last thing before she made it out.
