While loki was taking care of Thor, Eira ran to find Afya and frigga. She first headed to her and Loki's chambers, she knew that if Afya was still alive, she would've taken frigga there. She ran into their room and the first thing she saw made her heart fall to pieces; Afya was laying on the floor, covered in blood and bruises. Eira fell to her knees right next to her friend.
"No, no Afya please!" She cried realizing that there was no life left in her, she turned her on her back so she could see her face. She was lifeless, cold, and beaten.
"Afya no! No please! Come back!" She sobbed, holding her friends dead body. Afya was Eira's first real friend (aside from loki), she took care of her through all illness and even just when he need someone to talk to, and now here she was, dead in her arms. She continued sobbing loudly until she heard a wicked voice.
"Keep your voice down, you wouldn't want to wake the baby now would you?" She knew who it was: Brynjar. He stepped out from behind a pillar with frigga in his arms.
"Put my child down!" She screamed through her tears.
"Keep quiet" he said calmly "unless you don't want to keep your baby" he continued, pulling out a life.
"No. No please, please don't hurt her" she said, trying to keep her voice down. She took a step closer.
"Stay there" Brynjar instructed, she did as he told.
"Please. please I'm begging you, don't hurt her" Eira pleaded, tears pouring out if her eyes.
"Oh, Eira, don't cry" he said in a fake sympathetic tone. "What do you want?" She asked, not able to stop looking at her baby, whom Brynjar was threatening with a knife.
"I want you, Eira" he said to her, she gave a confused look, she couldn't speak through her tears, but was able to mouth 'what?'.
"What does that mean?" He choked, he took a step closer. By this time frigga had woken up and was crying.
"Close the door" he ordered, she did as he told, right now she'd do anything to save her daughter.
"I want you to come with me" he told her "if you come with me I'll let your little frigga go" he said.
"Done" she said, almost before he was even able to finish. He raised his eyebrows in surprise, he was expecting her to put up more Of a fight.
"I'll do anything. Take me, do anything you want with me, just please don't hurt her" she pleaded. He smiled wickedly.
"It's forever" he told her. She shook her head.
"I don't care, it doesn't matter" she said.
"Alright, she's coming" he called. A few men came from behind the wall and started to shackle her hands behind her back.
"Wait" she said. "Can I just hold her for a minuet?" She asked, Brynjar rolled his eyes.
"Alright" he handed frigga to her. "Say your goodbyes, do whatever it is you mothers like to do. But make it quick" he snapped. She took frigga in her arms.
"Shh" she said rocking her a little.
"I want to tell you that everything will be alright, that everything will turn out okay, but this isn't the time to lie. I'm never going to see you again. But know that you have the best daddy in the world, and he's going to take good care of you" she said, the tears coming back again "I know he'll tell you about me, and I know he'll make me sound like I was perfect, but know that I was very flawed. I know he'll give you everything I wanted for you, and I know that he'll protect you. Im sorry I can't be with you, I know you'll grow up to be a wonderful, beautiful person" she said, chocking of her tears "I love you frigga" she kissed her forehead with quivering lips before he felt Brynjar take her back from her. He nodded to his men and they shackled her hands behind her back.
"Well, that was very touching" Brynjar said sarcastically. "But unfortunately, daddy won't be able to protect her at all" he said as he held the knife above frigga and plunged into her heart.
"NO!" Eira screamed as loud as she could "you said if I went with you you wouldn't hurt her! We had a deal!" She screamed loudly through her uncontrollable sobs."I lied" Brynjar shrugged as one of his men put a gag in her mouth. She was screaming in her throat, struggling to get away, but with her hands shackled behind her back, and them dragging her away, she was no match for them. she couldn't believe that he had murdered her baby and just dropped her body on the ground. She was tugging and pulling to free herself, trying to call for loki through the gag in her mouth. She fell to the ground, weakened with grief, trying to pull away. Her struggling became more frantic and hard to control, ice had started to grow along the walls and floor, she couldn't control herself, and she didn't really want to. Brynjar knew she would get away if his men slipped on her ice, and he wasn't going to let that happen. he nodded to one of the men, and Eira felt a hard blow to her head before darkness consumed her, the last thing she saw before blacking out, was her child's dead body laying on the floor only a few feet in Front of her.
