Eira thought the guards commands were a little strange. "Don't make noise?" She thought to herself. Why does he care? But she kept quiet anyway. As they walked she realized they were not in the main part of the palace at all, in fact, there were hardly any people where they were. They walked for a few minutes before she could tell where they were: the stables.
"What is going on?" She asked "why are we in the stables?" The guard did not answer her. He walked over to the far end of the stable and opened the gate of one of the horses, she was startled to find that the horse had eight legs. Before she could ask what was going on, the guards appearance changed into that of the prince, Loki. "Sorry about the confusion, but I'm not letting them hurt you" loki said before she could get a word out. He climbed onto the horse and held out a hand for her to help her up. Right as they were about to leave they heard soldiers outside the stables "looks like they noticed you were gone" loki said in too calm a voice. "Don't worry" he continued "sliepnir is faster than any horse in the realm" before they could take off the soldiers came in and saw them, it seemed like no time at all before they were running from twenty of asgards soldiers. They were going faster then Eira had even gone on a horse before, but the soldiers were still chasing them, there was no way they could out run them. "We can't out run them!" Eira shouted so loki could hear her
"We don't need to" loki replied with a mischievous smile. It was then that Eira looked up and saw that loki was taking them at full speed toward the side of a flat mountain. "Are you crazy?!" Eira shouted at him
"Yes I am! But all the best people are!" He replied "We are going to crash into that mountain!" She shouted back at him
"That's the idea" he said calmly. Just then they ran into the mountain, but rather than running into it, they ran through it. Eira looked around and found that wherever they were now, it wasn't asgard, there was a plane, and a forest, and the sun was setting.
"What just happened?" She questioned
"There are different passages of asgard leading to the different realms. That one lead us to alfhiem, home of the light elves" he answered her.
"What stopped the soldiers from following us through?" She asked
"Their horses can't go fast enough, that's why I took Sleipnir" he said with a smile "and he's probably exhausted from running like that, so let's find A creek and get him some water" it didn't take long for them to find water, there were creeks and riveted everywhere. They got off of Sleipnir so he could drink and loki handed Eira a piece of fruit
"Sorry it's not a lot, but I was in a hurry" he said as he handed her the fruit
"That's  fine." She said as she took it "you saved my life, thank you" he only nodded in reply before he spoke again
"I'll get you back to your home. I just needed to get rid of those soldiers, but I'll get you back home" she smiled in return and after a few minutes they got back onto Sleipnir.
"We have to get to the passage that leads us back to asgard, it's a bit of a long ride" he told her
"That's okay" she said back. After riding without speaking for a few minutes she broke the silence
"So what's your story? I thought you were the one who died... Twice..." He laugh a little at her last remark
"That's a long story" he said
"It's a long ride" she countered
