Everyday for the next week was exactly the same, every morning loki was painfully woken up, and the torture would begin. Pretty soon he stopped trying to figure out what they were doing, or what they were about to do, and just decided that it was all just unbearable pain and it didn't matter what they were using to do it. He could feel himself getting weaker everyday, they never let him eat anything, and they only gave him enough water to keep him alive, he was always freezing cold, and he had no way to warm himself. Each day things seemed to keep getting worse, he couldn't even move anymore, they chained him up, but even if they left him unchained and the door open, he would be too weak to crawl across the floor without passing out. For the first few days he kept Thor and Eira in mind, he knew they would come for him. But now he had lost all hope, he just excepted the fact that he was going to die in the prison, if not from pain, then starvation. This day started exactly the same, loki was woken up by a hot piece of metal being pressed against the back of his shoulder. In the middle of being beaten, the door opened, and the torturer stopped.
"That's enough for now" a voice said, loki knew who it was, he met her the first day he was there, it was Embrey.
"Hello loki" she said in a voice that would be beautiful if she wasn't such a witch.
"Why are you here?" He asked in a parched voice.
"Oh, here" she held water up to his mouth and let him drink freely. "Why do you want to hurt Eira? She's your sister" he asked her "I never said she was my sister" she remarked "Eira talks about you a lot" he told her. "Of course. I should've guessed. But it's none of your concern why I hate her" she told him. Something about her was off, she was a physically beautiful person, she was smiling, she had a soft voice, but something about the sight of her made loki sick.
She traced his face with her fingers, and pulled the hair out of his face. "It doesn't have to be like this" she whispered in his ear. He knew she was trying to attract him, but with every word she became more and more repelling to him.
Loki, I don't want to hurt you, I want to hurt Eira. So if you say you'll come with me, if you leave Eira and marry me, all of this will end" she told him. "If I marry you?" He asked, he was disgusted by the idea of it
"I'm not really that bad, if you get on my good side your life can be a pleasure" she said stepping closer to him, she put her lips against his and kissed him, he tried to pull away but she wouldn't let him. Finally she stopped.
"How was that?" She asked "I- I never.....thought that....." He was trying to find words, she smiled, pleased with herself, knowing she had tricked him.
"I never thought..... That it was possible for a kiss to be so horrible" he said to her, her face grew red with anger, her breathing became harder.
"I would rather spend the rest of my life in agony than spend one night with you" he spat at her with what little strength he had in his voice. Her hand was now flaming, she threw a jet of fire at him, burning his side. "You are going to regret making me angry!" She shrieked in a loud annoying voice. "Guards!" She called, several guards entered the dungeon. "Take him outside and continue" she commanded. They dragged loki outside, the air was thick, and dirty, making it hard for him to breath. They chained him to a pillar and started the day of torture over, half of him wished he had kept is big mouth shut, but the other half was glad he made her angry.
They started to torture him all over again, with every new injury, they found new ways to hurt him. one of them took a rock and pressed it against the burn left on his side from Embrey, he started twisting it, scraping off his burned skin. They dumped more freezing slat water on him. turned him around, and beat him equally hard on his chest. Finally they stopped, but instead of taking him back inside, they left him out there. It didn't take long a few animals to find him, they'd started licking his cuts, he was almost hoping they would kill him, but to his surprise, they didn't seem wiled, they almost seemed friendly. The licking stung, but somehow he felt less alone, he rested his head against the pillar he was shackled to and looked up the sky.
"Eira, Thor, where are you?" He sighed, closing his eyes.
