"Loki, will you help me?" Eira asked, it was early morning about two weeks after the war with the jotuns had ended. She hadn't been feeling well and wanted to go talk to the healers, but the door was stuck. Loki was awake, but pretendig to be asleep so he don't have to get up.
"Yeah, I'll be right there" he said sleepily, he heard a small thud which made him perk up a bit, he looked over and saw Eira was on her knees on the ground.
"Are you alright?" He asked, getting up and coming over to her, he knelt down beside her and held her face in his hands.
"What happened?" He asked in concern. She held onto his arms to stable herself.
"I don't know, I just got a little dizzy. I'm fine" she said, but her eyes were still wandering. Loki helped her up, but she still held onto him.
"Are you sick?" He asked, feeling her face with the back of his hand.
"I don't know, I think so. I was going to go talk to the Af- Reva, but the door won't open" she said, clearly frustrated that she couldn't get it open and that she was having a hard time staying standing.
"Come here, sit down" he said, guiding her to a seat.
"I'll get the door" he told her. He walked over to the door and was ready to struggle with it. He got up against it, turned the knob, and pushed as hard as he could, only to find that the door wasn't stuck at all, and it opened easily.
"Um, the door is fine now" he said, thinking it odd that she had such a problem with it.
"Thank you, sorry I got you up" she said, standing back up as walking to him.
"Don't be sorry" he said back. He could see that she was still dizzy, and just over all not feeling well, so he walked her to the healing room.
"Lady Eira. What's wrong?" Reva asked, loki set her down.
"I just feel a little sick" she said back. Loki left the room so they could take care of her, but he waited right outside, in a few minutes Eira came back out.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asked.
"Yes, they said it's not a big deal and Would just pass in time" she told him.
"Oh good" he said, she looked up into his eyes and felt tears forming in hers.
"Sweetheart, what's wrong?" He asked, putting his hands on her shoulders.
She then started crying, and put her hands over her face.
"Eira, what's going on?" He asked in concern, pulling her into a loving embrace. She put her arms around him and continued to cry into his chest.
"Nothing. I'm fine" she said when she got control of herself.
"Darling, I've seen you when you're fine and this isn't what it looks like" he said back. "I don't know why I'm crying, I just need to rest I guess" she said, trying to not have another out burst.
"You're sure nothing is wrong with you? What did the healers really say?" He asked her.
"They just said I'm just a little sick, nothing too serious" she told him. He looked at her and didn't really believe her, but didn't want to keep pestering her. He picked her up and carried her back to their room and set her down in bed. "Aside from being dizzy, what else is wrong?" He asked, wanting to be able to take care of her.
"Just my stomach. I feel a little nauseous" she said back, he kissed her cheek lightly.
"I'm sorry. I have something to take care of, and then I'll be right back. Okay?" He said, she smiled slightly and nodded. He left the room and went back to the healers.
"Reva" he said as he came in.
"Yes?" She asked.
"What's wrong with Eira?" He asked, still not believing she was okay.
"She has a little slight flu. Didn't she tell you?" She asked, a little confused.
"Yes, she did, but she seemed a little odd. You're sure there's nothing else wrong with her? If she's dying you better tell me" he said, she smirked and shook her head.
"Only a flu" she said back. "But i gave her something that should help her feel better by tomorrow" she added
"Thank you" he said and left the room. He came back to his and Eira's room, she wasn't there, but he could hear her in the bathroom.'Guess she was a little more nauseous than I thought' he said to himself. He came in and saw her on her knees next to the bathtub, he held her hair away from her face until she stopped, then gave her some water to rinse her mouth. She was now shaking and crying a little again. "Shh, it's okay" he said softly and helped her up and back to bed. "I'm sorry I wasn't here for you" he said to her.
"I'm fine" he said, wiping away a few tears. "Lay down, try to go back to sleep" he told her. Just then they both heard a loud crash.
"Go see what it is" she told him.
"I don't want to leave you" he told her.
"They need you, go, I've been sick before" she told him with a little smile. He kissed we forehead and left the room.
"Thor, what's going on?" Loki asked.
"A prison break" he told him. "Go on, I'll be there in just a moment" he added, loki went to go help contain the prisoners and Thor went to loki and Eira's room, he went over to the closed door and picked up mjölnir that was beside it. Loki never noticed that it was mjölnir that was blocking the door from opening earlier that day.
