8: Seven Minutes In Heaven

GreenR: whooh! Finally finished. Sorry I haven't been updating lately but I just have been really busy with schoolwork and exams and just living.

Law: living? You mostly read or sleep or play video games.

GreenR: that's my life. Recently I've become absolutely addicted to Assassin's Creed and that really annoys my friends but hey! they still love me anyways.

There were very few items left in the hat when you finally pulled out...little crimson red sake cup. Nami next to you inhaled sharply.

"Nonono!!!" She shook her head furiousy. "You are not going to be alone with HIM."

That got you interested. I mean, Nami had sent best of her friends to closet with some weirdos just to get some of her OTPs together. She was shameless matchmaker and you knew it very well. And know suddenly she's screeching and saying that you can't be alone with some guy.

"What? Whose is it Nami-neechan?" You asked suspiciously but orange-haired navigator was already gone. When you looked around you saw her talking with some red haired guy. And wow, he looked fine.

(In here Shanks is still young and all because I don't wanna say anything bad but seriously, he is almost as old as my dad. Can't write something romantic when he's so old.)

He had blood-red hair and three scars running over his eye. He also seemed to be missing one arm but that didn't ruin his looks. If anything that made him look even more dangerous and mysterious.

You headed towards them and heard  little scraps about their argument.

"I don't care about that! How did you even sneaked that into hat?!" Nami waved with sake cup.

"I didn't sneak it in! I didn't even wanna play, remember?" Guy protested annoyedly. You stopped next to them and tapped gently on Nami's shoulder.

"Who is-oh, it's you Y/N," she sighed and turned back to the guy.

"What is it? Is something wrong?" You were concerned.

"No nothing is wrong, just-" Nami pulled you little closer and whispered.

"That's the guy whose item you got. But he's got a little bad reputation with girls and he's also known for lots of drinking and partying, so I don't want you to-"

"No it's alright. Only seven minutes, right?"

"Right," she sighed and said to red-head that it was mistake and game can finally go on. You and guy went to the closet and sat down, staring at the wall.

"So...you're Y/N, right?" Red-head tried to start a conversation.

"Yeah, that's the name of the fabulous and amazing me," you grinned toothily, making him smile too.

"Nice. I'm Shanks by the way," that name ringed a bell at the back of yout head. You furrowed your brows and tried to remember where had you heard it. Maybe some street fight or party or something.

"Hey Y/N?"

"Eh? What?" You turned to him quickly, being still half buried in your thoughts.

"Would you slap me if I tried to kiss you?" You turned as red as his hair. Kiss? You? With that cute guy? But you hid your surprise well like it was normal every-day activity to kiss hot guys.

"Try and we'll find out."

That was all he needed and in a moment he kissed you hotly on the lips, making blood in your veins boil with just a second and your face turn even redder. He deepened the kiss a little, pulling you halfly on his lap.

That was also the moment the door flung open and Hellishy angry Nami stood in front of you.

"Shanks. You. Red. Headed. Bastard. What. Did. I. Say. About. Kissing. Y/N. To. You?" You crawled quickly away from Shanks but that didn't satisfy Nami. She started running after the guy around the room with some really sharp and weird looking weapons. Shanks didn't seemed too bothered about it, laughing all the time like it was what he did every day. Maybe it was.

Before running out of the room, he stopped next to you for a moment and left in a second, after whispering you something and leaving quick peck to your cheek.

"You. Me. This Saturday. I'll find you. Don't tell Nami about it though."
