"I am going to diiiieeeee," Luffy moaned and buried his head into fluffy pink pillow.
Ace left a cup of tea and some medicine next to the couch for him before going to get his phone. He chose your number and waited for few beeps before you picked up.
"I don't have any pizza left," you said quickly before he could say anything. "Just mentioning, you ate everything already."
"Thanks, but I don't want pizza," he said dryly, little offended that you thought he only thought about food. Which he did. But he could still be offended if he wanted.
"You don't want pizza? Are you sick?"
"Luffy is," he heard a loud crash from the other side but ignored it. "It's pretty bad and I have to go to work so-"
"Let me find my trousers and give me twenty minutes to get there," you interrupted him, searching through a pile of clothes on your bedroom floor. "Does he want anything from the store?"
"No it's fine," Ace looked over to his brother who was staring at the TV with glassy eyes. "If you can just come and take care of him for few hours, it would be great."
"Twenty minutes," you said and hanged up. You picked up a pair of mostly clean pajamas and wiggled into them. Next thing was to get your car keys, which had somehow found their way into your boot.
Ace dumped another blanket on Luffy who was shivering in fever and made him drink the tea. That almost made the younger boy throw up. He hated tea. It was disgusting.
"Y/n's gonna be here any moment," Luffy's ears perked up and he looked at his brother. "So I'm gonna go now, when she comes just let her in and try not to throw up at her." Luffy gave him thumbs up and Acw left for work. He was late already and Marco was going to kill him for that.
You got to their house in fifteen minutes. Technically if you wanted you could have done it in ten, but that meant breaking more than ten laws, and even you had some standards.
The door was locked but luckily the spare key was still in your car where the boys left it last time. You opened the door and waljed in. The house seemed empty but you went by the soft sound of TV to the living room.
Luffy was under a pile of blankets. He was sleeping and his pale face was covered in cold sweat. His breaths were short and shallow.
TV was on at some news channel and you looked around for the remote to turn it off so he could sleep without distractions. You didn't find it so you left it be and went to the bathroom where they kept whatever little medicine they had.
"Okay this is bad," you mumbled to yourself as you inspected the shelf their medical supplies were. There were some painkillers and bandages and plasters. "Don't they ever get sick or something."
That was entirely rethorical question as you knew they almost never did. That was also why you had been so worried when Ace called you and said Luffy was down with something.
"Finally," you managed to dig up something to get the fever down with. When you went to living room Luffy was still sleeping so you just left the pills on the table and headed off to kitchen. When he woke up he would surely be hungry.
Again, they weren't very well supplied. There was meat. And a potato somewhere in the depths of fridge. You at least hoped it was potato. It was definitely potato shaped.
You managed to find some instant noodles and boiled to water to make them. About that time you heard more voices from the living room and went over to see if he was awake.
