GreenR: sorry I haven't updated at all but I got a new job so I've been really busy. Amd tired. And my knees hurt.
Law:don't whine. And if you just say that you knees hurt from working it sounds really weird.
GreenR: eh.who cares. So for the last week I've been on the strawberry fields. Picking those damn berries. And you know what's the funniest part?
Law: you hate strawberries.
GreenR: ...I hate strawberries. They smell so sweet. It's disgusting. And they make my skin itch. But it's a good job and if I want to keep living with my terrible book addiction, I gotta do it.
Law: that reminds me, we're gonna need another bookcase.
GreenR: really? Damn. By the way, if any of you knows any great books, please leave the name or author in the comments. I'd love to have something new to read.
Thanks

"Get out of the kitchen."
"No."
"Do as I say and get out of the kitchen," you said calmly, gripping the wooden spoon tightly. You had been preparing the desserts before you noticed that blond idiot sneaking back into kitchen. After you had - nicely - kicked him out.
"No," he tried to pick up a plate from the table and dropped it on the ground right away. Clumsy and annoying. How wonderful. You ignored the shards for the moment and glared at Sanji.
"Your arm is broken, in the name of-" you felt annoyance getting the best of you so you stopped. Breath. Try again. You can do this.
"Your arm is broken and other wrist sprained. Right now you're doing more harm in here than good," you waved the spoon under his nose scoldingly. "So go and sit down. I can cook for some time." True that. Maybe not as well as he, but edibly. And that was more than you could say for the rest of the crew.
Fuck that sentence. You are a good cook. Believe in yourself. Recipes are boring so diss them. Everything is good because when you make it you pour your heart into it. Not literally though. Real heart would ruin the cake.
"Or are you saying you don't trust me?" You batted your eyelashes, trying to look sad. Sanhi sighed in defeat and sat down behind the counter. "So you don't trust me," you mumbled as he stared at every movement you made.
Luckily you had been able to finish cooking other things of meal in time it took Chopper to set cast on his arm. Then the worried cook had stormed the kitchen and tried to fix everything you made. And made it almost worse.
Right now you were fixing up the dessert. It was a large tart covered in fruit and whipped cream. It was filled with cream and fruits too. Easy enough not to mess it up and you had been careful enough to avoid putting cherries in it, so everyone in the crew should like it.
You poked your tongue out from the corner of your mouth in concentration. You did your best to set the cream flowers on top of it with spiraling moves. Well, to be honest you had done lots of better work but you felt like shaking hands were excused in this situation. With Sanji staring at your every movement like an eagle and you felt nervous. Almost like the day you had flunked your exams in the culinary school.
"Could you stop it?" You finally growled and looked over to him. "It's kinda uncomfortable to do anything when you're staring at me."
"S'rry," he mumbled awkwardly. Sure, he didn't trust you but you were a girl. He had been taught to be nice and polite to girls. You were a bit different, but not too much. "It's just weird to sit here and not do anything."
"If I gave you something to test, would you calm down?" You were already walking to the fridge and took small package from there.
"Test?"
"I made a smaller cakes in case this one didn't work out," you tapped lightly on the plate the tart was on. "So we would still have something. Do you want it or not?"
"Okay," fool. He knew as well as you that you could never mess up a cake. As a cook your skills weren't too perfect. But as confectioner you shone.
"Actually," you grinned when he tried to pick up a spoon. His fingers were clumsy and he dropped it few times before you took it yourself to help him. "That's not exactly true."
You broke a piece of pie with spoon and held it up for him. He scrunched his nose a bit when he tried it and you laughed at it.
"See? Cherries," you set the spoon aside and went back to setting small flowers on the large tart. "I made a good patch of those before I remembered that Luffy doesn't eat cherries. And he would be sad if he couldn't eat cake."
That reasoning made quite a lot of sense. Really.
"Sorry for wasting so much of ingredients," you apologised awkwardly to him. "But they are still okay so we can eat them."
"They're good," Sanji was still stumbling with the spoon and it clearly pained him to move his hand. But he still ate the cake.
"Really!?"
"Oh come on," he rolled eyes at your grin. "You know very well that it's good. No need to make this face."
"Yeah but," you shrugged and took finished tart to the fridge. "You know. One thing is to know it. Other thing is when you...y'know," oh crivens. That didn't happen often but your tongue was in a knot.
"Know what?" How incredibly irritating he could be when he wanted to! You rubbed awkwardly the back of your neck and looked away. You felt your ears getting red in embarrasement. Good. Just what you needed right now.
"Y'know. When people who are.... mutter mutter mutter," you mumbled the last part as quickly as you could.
"Sorry I didn't catch that last part," oh he was enjoying that conversation. For some weird reason he didn't always treat you as he did other girls. But now you were red from head to toes and as girly and awkward as possible.
"Uhh," you groaned like you were in pain. Decidng it was easier to just say it nd be over with, you clapped your hands on his cheeks so he would have to look you in the eye. And so you also didn't have other chkice but to look him in the eye. Which was embarrasing.
"I'm only gonna say it once because it's really damn awkward and mushy, so better pay attention," you breathedin deeply. "It's another thing when I'm praised by people who mean more to me than anything else. Okay? Got it?"
"G-got it," you had to let go of his dumb face and retreat a bit. He was gobsmacked. (Can I just say how much I love the word 'gobsmacked'? It sounds like something of a goblin species but in reality means just 'extremely surprised'. Isn't that just a perfect word?)
I did it, your thoughts marked very calmly. Another thought in your head noted that Zoro had come to kitchen and sat down behind the table. He said something but you didn't hear a thing because your mind was screaming. Did you really just tell the person who was most important to you that he was the erson most important to you?
Yes. Yes you did.
"What are you two idiots doing?" You finally heard through the haze and snapped back into the reality. "Did you break him or something?" Zoro continued, waving his fingers in front of Sanji's face but the cook didn't even blink.
"Or something," you said. "I think I told him I love him."
"I thought you already said that," Zoro yawned and went to the fridge to get a bottle of sake. What a drunkard. "Last week or something."
"He didn't catch up. But he got it this time," you turned on your heel and started to sneak out. "I'm just gonna go and hide under a rock and you warn me when he snaps out of it."
"Should I break his legs too? To protect you of course," he offered nicely.
"No I've got this," you sped out of the room. Since there were no rocks to hide under you went to Franky's workshop and bothered him for some time. It was a good hiding place. No one except Franky and Usopp came here because it always smelled a little weird and was full of smoke.
You're gonna stay there for ever.
